Not sure Clisby was even looking at the ball, he wanted to take out the man

And Cirio off early after being unable to recover from that Clisby tackle.

Would have nailed it if he was coming off the bench, that was classic starter Henrique

ooohhh what a counter attack from the reds. started from some reckless tackles near their own box sweetly passed at speed to their front three and then....butchered by the macaroon

That's a ludicrous yellow card.

Slippery Fish makes it 1-0!

thats better from the little fish. slight deflection maybe? anyway reds are in front and slater is frothing over them

WSW defence looks very dodgy. Mind you, any defence with Cornflake in it is immediately at a disadvantage.

Two absolutely sublime crosses from Kitto to set up Henrique.

Was really surprised when the Jets let him go.

I like what I'm seeing from Holland & Guardiola, both look like quality additions to the A-League

A lot of pundits were picking the Reds to struggle this year but they are already showing signs that they will be right up there again.

I think I've seen more nutmegs in one and a bit rounds than in the whole of last season.

It's their depth that is my concern, they have a quality starting line up but guys like Makarounas are not up to this level

Santalab out of nowhere 1-1

Permalink Permalink

Adelaide look out on their feet, they could use some impact off the bench but there isn't any quality there. Compare that to the subs that WSW have brought on to make an impact.

Permalink Permalink

That should have been a red for Santalab

And He who should have been sent off scores, 1-2

Permalink Permalink

Whoa, controversial. Winner scored by the man who should've got a red card.

Brilliant battling work from Nichols in the lead up.

The Wanderers really are the bad guys aren't they?

Wow how was that not given a red?

The ref was shocking all match. He would give out warnings to players, the player would repeat the same infringement and then they still wouldn't get carded. There should've been so many more cards; he was so lenient it was ridiculous.

Sydney unchanged, Faty benched for CCM

Permalink Permalink

Surprised he's even on the bench.

Permalink Permalink

Way too easy for Sydney, Holosko gets the thru ball behind the defence and dabs it over the keeper 1-0

Permalink Permalink

Bobo doubles the lead, 2-0

Permalink Permalink

2-0 down and you bring on Faty .... oh dear

Permalink Permalink

Holosko should have made it 3, some miss that

CCM are quite simply awful. Makes last week's comeback look all the more bizarre.

Rojas straight into the starting line up for the Victory, replaces the injured Troisi.

Interesting to see Rojas right back into the starting XI, brings me hope that our AW's can start for the Nix tomorrow.
