I captained Fornaroli on Fantasy A-League so he better score at least a brace. Should be a straight forward match for a Melbourne City team this good.

By the way, RR, when do you usually announce who we're playing against this week in the Tipping Competition?

Well you got your brace! City would be lost with out Bruno right now

Normally post them when I wake up on Saturday because I'm too lazy to post them Friday night, I really should make the effort to post them Friday nights.

So it seems Shaun Evans let City play with 12 men for about 30 seconds ...he is proving to be a perfect replacement for Ben Williams

I reckon Roar 1-0 here

I reckon 2–2 draw today.

McGowan probably should have scored from that header.

0-0 at half time, Adelaide trying to make things happen and Roar sitting back waiting to hit on the counter. Game could really open up with an early goal in the second half

Galekovic and Ross Aloisi throwing shade at each other via the half time interviews has probably been the highlight of the game so far

DeVere misses a great chance for the Roar. Both sides missing some quality up front to finish these chances

Holman with a deflected long range strike, 0-1

I was just about to write that this is a dreary game, when all of a sudden Holman scores, quite a few years since his last effort in HAL.

Brisbane leads one nil.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

There was a deflection of La Rocca, but chances are it would not have made a difference if there wasn't a deflection. Looked like going straight in near the post, I thought.

Guardiola with a close range header, 1-1

Ends 1-1, fair result imo. Roar fans might be a bit miffed at Theo's effort for the equaliser

Looked like he was wrong footed, good header though.

Also happened when Sorenson got sent off in Round 1. Bouzanis came on but they didn't take a player off. Game didn't continue, but honestly how is this happening? Pretty pathetic officiating

But also ask " Why are City trying it on in the first place?"

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

i played in a game once and the same thing happened with 12 on the field for one team. the problem was that one team scored a goal,  the other team complained to the ref that there were 12 players on the field the ref had a quick count up and the goal was disallowed.

I do remember the warriors getting points docked for having an extra player on the field and they ended up 9th that season.

Keogh blows an early 1 v 1 with Vukovic, misses the target completely

Griffiths apparently playing with a bulging disc in his neck. Surely that isn't good for ones health?

Another great chance for the Glory, Keogh just can't get a foot on the cross

What a stupid goal that was. For some reason this season I've seen a lot of defenders and keepers way too comfortable on the ball. They think they're better than they are.
