Victory take on a Glory team weakened by injuries. This could be a bit of a slaughter tonight.

Tipping Rojas 3 - Glory 0

Totally against the run of play, Keogh makes it 0-1

Victory finally gets back on level terms, with Rojas putting it on a plate for Berisha 1-1.

1-1 at half time, its been all the Victory but the Glory had 1 half chance and Keogh took it.

And the seagulls have arrived at half time.

All Victory but no finishing on show that second half, Glory hang on for a 1-1 draw.

Perth used up an entire season's worth of luck in that 90 minutes. Should've been about 5-1.

Thanks Ryan for the updates.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I don't think any side except Sydney and maybe Perth at home has really found their shooting boots this season yet. Rojas was awesome last night though.

Ka-Powell! 1-0 CCM

Great run by Roux to set him up.

And Jumpei makes it 1-1 straight from the kick off.

Really nice work from Storm Roux to set up that Powell goal. He's a valuable attacking fullback. Pity his defending is so often atrocious.

Wtf was Harper going on about with "the Japanese disease", ie them being crap in front of goal? I doubt they have this condition in the J League.

Roux is looking fantastic today, some great forward runs already

WSW capitalise on their dominance, Butters whips in a cross and Nico headers it in with authority. 1-2

Not great from Powell to give up on chasing Martinez. If he'd stuck with him he might've been able to put a challenge in.

Permalink Permalink

That should have been the equaliser for CCM but O'Donovan hits the post when it was easier to score

Permalink Permalink

Pain should have scored there as well

Good fun, this. WSW look much better without Bulut getting caught offside every five minutes. Mind you, CCM's defence is no great shakes.

Both defences look fragile, makes for an entertaining game so far

Seems like 90% of A league goals are ogs or deflections. How many ogs is that now this season?

Well I flicked over to the under 20 match at halftime and those girls had had 24 shots without a goal so I guess there must be something to it.

edit: I see they've score now though

Much the better side.

Not five minutes ago was thinking to myself that Manny's having such a good game he's bound to make a massive blunder. And that happens.

1-0 Roar

1-1 and all descending into primary school slaps, sulks and tantrums. Commentators loving it but pretty pathetic for me.

Finishes 1-1, Roar's 4th game in a row with that scoreline. If you missed it hunt out a replay of Jade North screaming, collapsing and clutching his face in feigned agony after being slapped across the shoulder by Fornarolli. Be a long time before he lives that down.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm glad City scored there, North deserved it.

It's going to be great the next time he plays Berisha. They'll brush shoulders and Berisha will roll around on the ground ten times clutching his knee, a few seconds later North will fall down clutching his face.

The FFA have to do something about that. It's obvious to everyone the bullshark that happened here. If they do nothing, it will be an absolute farce.

The MRP can only currently look at simulation if its involved in a red card or penalty. They really need to look at altering the rules for next season.
