Pre-game comment from Archie Thompson on the Nix/MV game last week: "For Wellington to give Berisha so much space shows you that Wellington's pathetic".

Ouch.

FFS just discovered my Foxtel feed was running half an hour slow. Missed opening 23 minutes. Reds worth their lead?

Yeah, they have created the better chances so far.

Penalty against the run of play and Izzo saves it!

These penalty decisions for handball are ridiculous imo.

Wow! what a saves/s!

Have to hand it to Izzo, he's starting to make a good fist of keeping in the A League. Mind you, he's had great games before, only to produce a howler when least expected.

Yes!!! good save.

Adelaide well deserving of the lead at half time. Victory's midfield just isn't up to A-League standard anymore, Valeri and Milligan get outplayed most weeks.

Archie making up new rules at half time ...

Still shaking my head in disbelief at the ref giving Garuccio a yellow card for that so-called hand ball. Totally deluded if he thinks it was in any way deliberate.

Mileusnic with another great chance. Victory's backline just can't cope with the ball in the air.

Quality finish that by Milligan, 1-1

Bound to happen! Doesn't change your point really but it was a pearler of a goal.

Honestly I think most of the fault lies with Valeri, he hasn't come back the same player since that long break with injury.

the administrators are more interested in gimmick marketing, than they are ensuring refs actually apply the laws of the game properly.

Blackwood scores .... wow that is a shock. 1-2

Nice goal by Adelaide

Bit OTT to blame the keeper for that. He's smashed it low from 6 yards. The defender should've been much closer to Blackwood.

5 defenders vs 3 attacks and they get the shot away, Blackwood shouldn't have been able to get the shot away.

It's pretty indicative of the "expert comments" we get from Robbie Slater. In fact this pair of mugs always give me a brain ache.

Adlung red card, what a stupid second yellow card

Brilliant tumble and scream from Sanchez though. Pure Spanish theatre.

Now Garuccio gets a second yellow for time wasting!!

Permalink Permalink

And there you see the consequence of the unbelievable decision to yellow card Garuccio for the hand ball in the 1st half.

7 minutes of added time!!
