Top of the table clash, can the Jets claw back some of Sydney's lead?

Victory v CCM KO pushed back 25 minutes cuz of the expected high temperatures, no change for the City/Nix game.

Read a report that Arnie reckons they basically only played one half last week (presumably where they scored 5 goals) and he wants a full effort this week; but Ernie is a wily one. Boogaard out?

Yep, they said Hyphen will captain earlier in the week

Don't recall Ernie wearing too many suits sideline on match days when at the Nix.

Nabout with a free header, Jets 1-0. Game on.

Jets take the early lead! 0-1

Ninkovic weaves thru the box beating 3 or 4 and then Moss to make it 1-1.

Great save moss from Bobo volley. Champness has looked promising.

This is some good to watch football.

Good for Moss to play in top team, great coaching by Ernie. Why Phoenix, why?

And Champness makes it 2-1 for the Jets. Quick first time response to a loose corner ball from about the pen spot.

Let's see what Sydney are made of now. Matt Simon replaces Carney.

Bobo heads in for 2-2 at '87. Plenty of stoppage time coming up too.

Think we had already lost that record to the Roar back in 2013 who had 23

We had 24 if you didn't include the Palmy game iirc?

That never sat well with me, you have to include the ring of dirt game

I remember it like it was only yesterday. Brosque went down quicker than a $2 hooker when there was no contact. Chicken wire fence all round.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I reckon a 1-1 draw here

Big Mac playing a #10 role for the Roar, I like the idea of this.

WSW score totally against the run of play. 0-1

Riera buries it after rebound from Santa header. One up pretty much against run of play after ‘29

And another injury for the Roar

Bridge left totally alone in the box and it's 0-2

Incorrect offside call on Gameiro is gonna hurt.

WSW starting to look like they understand the structure that Gombau wants them to play. I guess we have missed our chance to play them whilst they were a shambles.

Should have been a red for Big Mac, yet another VAR disaster

Adelaide with the early lead, way too easy 0-1

Baba almost makes it two, header off the crossbar and goes over

Adelaide make it 0-2, the young fella with the name that is a good score in scrabble with his first ever A-League goal.

Gotta think Victory here, I reckon 3-0

Kosta smashed the crossbar & it bounces down but didn't cross the line.

Valeri out for the Nix game. Now we just need red for Berisha.

Valeri hasn't been great this season, this means they will play the much better player in Antonis sadly.
