Can Dad's Army pick themselves up from the disappointment of last weekend and repeal the German invaders tonight?

Hingert dropped for the Roar, DeVere in for him

Or not.

Maccarone opens the scoring after some poor defending, 1-0 to the Roar

I know its early doors, but I think the reds will be near the bottom of the table this year, while the roar will be a mid table side. The way the roar are passing in the final 3rd is something we can learn from.... even if they still do take the wrong options with the ball...

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

also Theo's goal kicks aren't reaching half way... Maybe Keegan started a new trend.

I had Adelaide coming 4th in my predictions, I haven't seen anything to change my mind yet. They look a good side & will only get better. Some real concerns for Brisbane now tho.

Asdrubal pokes home a mistake by Janjetovic, CCM winning!! 0-1

Permalink Permalink

Was literally just thinking how toothless they look and bang, in one goes. Not great work from the keeper though.

Permalink Permalink

Roux is making some great runs and gets ignored, only time someone found him he set Hoole up for the shot Janjetovic spilled.

Pain butchers a 2 vs 1 chance on the keeper.

Ugh that was lame from Pain.

Amazing the turnaround in this one. CCM are dominating and should be 2 up.

Penalty!! Roly pushed down in the box

Glover gets a hand to it but it sneaks in, 1-1

Makes the Pain miss even more....painful.

Bit of a soft pen for mine. Always a lottery with Beath.

Signs CCM are going to fall apart in the last 15.

Although basically the minute I typed the above Mariners suddenly kicked up another notch again. Interesting contest this.

Good point for CCM. Probably feel they should've won it.

Edit - Williams challenge on Malik

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite

If he was wearing a Nix shirt, he would not have got the penalty.

I shared a similar thought, if Williams had a Nix shirt on and took out Mauk like that, that's a red, surely. (or maybe my tinfoil hats showing again)
