We kick off with the 'Original Rivalry' of the A-League. Who will lift the Kosmina-Muscat Cup tonight?

Matmour back on the bench, replacing Diawara

Adelaide have the better form of the two teams but the history of the A-League has Victory traditionally beating Adelaide. So I am finding it hard to pick a winner tonight, so going for a 1-1 draw.

Berisha opens the scoring, ofc I sold him in fantasy this week,. 0-1

Only themselves to blame for shoddy defence but MV were lucky to get the free kick.

1-1 at the break. Berisha is in full pantomime villain mode tonight, him vs Elsey will be interesting the rest of the game after he picked up a yellow.

Vinni, great goal.

Berisha, what an idiot.

if Adelaide is the future of football I don't want to watch it. Should be one off in the second half, hopefully Brigham, but I hope mv find a way to beat the reds, can't stand watching play like this.

Is it really that terrible? Granted, it's a long way from the Spanish fiesta days but it's not the worst thing I've ever seen. Reds fans wont care if it gets them somewhere near a grand final.

Pretty underwhelming game apart from the shock and awe of the two Vinnie belters.

Scores as many goals in his second game as he did in 10 years with us! I just knew we should have tried him up front!

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Victory not convincing. Is anyone missing Kosta for the Nix?

barbarous did nothing. Peru won't be too concerned about him. Victory can keep kosta if we can have vinnie back.

So will Berisha get punished for the push on the 4th official? He was shown a yellow card for the incident, so that might tie the MRPs hands over it.

Also, can the MRP rule on that William's tackle on Isaias? The Ref didn't seem to see it but the VAR checked it, the MRP can look at things that escaped the refs attention during games, so I have no idea if a VAR check counts.

As they are both Victory players I'm going to guess that the answer to both questions is no

the ref and the VAR were useless last night. If that's the standard the car are working too, then it's gonna have to be a very blatant penalty or assault for them to get involved.

For a team that prides itself on its defence, that goal from Hammill was really piss poor. Peeled off from Brillante way too easily.

Penalty converted by Bobo just now. 2-1 WSW.

Bautheac starts for the Roar & Ernie must be counting his lucky starts, he has named an unchanged side for the 3rd game in a row. I dunno if he ever managed that during his whole tenure at the Nix?
