Adelaide missing a few players, Absalonsen being out for 3-4 weeks is massive for them. Victory losing Kosta & Troisi to the FIFA window because their game is Monday night. I hadn't even considered that, it is a good thing we didn't play our usual Melbourne Cup Eve game vs the Victory then. Nice to see Gameiro named in the Roar squad, really hope he can get a good run of games injury free.

Sydney not risking Mierzejewski flying, with a run of NSW games coming up.

I reckon a 0-0 bore draw here

Cahill's rolled an ankle, have the Socceroos chances taking a tumble?

They're doomed....

If it wasn't for Cahill, there wouldn't be much for the commentators to talk about after that first half. Two good defensive teams neutralizing each others attack.

And I wish we didn't have to listen to these half-witted commentators anyway. If I hear this guy plugging "a Maccas VAR" break one more time I'm heading for the mute button. Not to mention Slater's "he must do better", surely the laziest co-commentator's cliche ever.

It's Cahill-watch from here on

Wilkshire breaks a 9 year goal drought, Sydney 0-1

Whoa, that's incredibly lazy defending from Fitzgerald. Just let him stroll away for the tap in.

Massive crowd there for the top of the table clash.

Not a draw but definitely a bore.

Sydney edge it 0-1 and go top of the table, guess we better get used to seeeing that cuz I don't see anyone taking it from them now.

Sydney deserved that. Gillet iffy performance.

One defensive lapse and Sydney take advantage of it, otherwise I would have been on the money

Continuing his bad form from last week. Great save from Izzo though.

That's a real popgun attack Adelaide have got. Can't remember a worse one since the inglorious days of Lloyd Owusu.

Kennedy makes his debut for CCM tonight, no Roux in the squad

Quite disappointed we don't get a chance to see Roux & Ingham both play, would have been a nice showdown for the AWs starting spot.

Had a change of heart here, I tipped CCM but thinking Roar 2-0 now.

This is a rather awful game atm.

Yep, that corner just about sums it up.

And the big talking point is whether Baro's foot is keeping Macarrone onside. How many more replays must we see? Bet if exactly the same thing happened at the other end of the pitch it would be ignored.

The Assistant Ref made a good call, if we have to take a freeze frame and zoom in on a toe to check for offside its not an obvious error. We want to eliminate the shockers, not re-ref every decision made.

DDS wastes a massive chance for CCM.

Signor Maccarone wont be happy with the attendance today.

Oh dear De Silva has blown yet another one.

And DDS blows another chance.

Great to see Corey Gameiro back on the park, atm its the only positive thing about this game

Kennedy & Young were easily the best players on the park.

After watching that game, I'm even more annoyed we dropped 2 points to this Roar side. They are really bad.
