Sounds all like a disaster. CCM are in real shambles, you could have your 15min of schadenfreude, it’s bad for the competition. We need a strong comback from the Mariners against Victory, FC, Glory, City to help us to the top.

Try as they might, nothing went right for CCM last night. I feel sorry for them.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

I think everyone has had their fun already and its got the point where there is real concern for their fans suffering. We had the likes of Libby & Singh to be silver linings on disasters like last season, there just isn't any kids coming thru for CCM to pin their hopes onto.

Especially because they were all very optimistic at the start of the season.

Many non-Mariners were picking them to make the top 6 pre-season. Have been unlucky with injuries. Full strength still not a top 6 team, but would be doing better.

Their average attendance still way ahead of us, hopefully we can start to rectify that.

They're helped by the fact there 3 other NSW teams in the league within easy commuting distance to Gosford, so they get a good attendance spike by the away fans for those games. It's a bit trickier for us, we have to rely on local support for attendance figures.

Jets fans get free entry into the F3 Derby away games, so was a few thousand of them at the pre-Xmas Derby

And Bruno left out again by City

Infuriates me that the Sky schedule consistently advertises their A-League match coverage will start 5-10 minutes before it actually does.

True - I regret now having laughed when Gold Coast were  sinking. Although it rankles a bit because it seems the CCM fanbase were keen to throw the nix under the bus when we were shark (like the joke, you don't have to be faster than the bear, only than your slowest companion)

Can we put to bed the notion that A-League refs don't give out first half cards yet? I've noticed a lot over the last week or two. Two in the first 10 minutes for Roar here.

2 yellows in first 15 minutes tonight.

I think I would rather watch paint dry than watch City play atm, they have all the possession and are just so slow in their build up play.

And in the blink of an eye its 0-2. WSW are a shambles at the back

It's as if they read this when you posted it and said to each other "We'll show him"

Fans don't like the stadiums they are playing out of, membership number are still about the same but it seems like most people just wanna reserve their seat for the new Stadium

Second yellow for Griffiths! Chance for WSW to get back into the game, 0-2

I would like to see City get another goal.

Looks like Babbel gave up on his team. Can’t wait for the press conference.

Couple fantastic saves by Galekovic

Good reffing to whack the yellow card out too when he was going nuts complaining about it.

Galekovic saves it, he has been huge the last 10 mins

Highly predictable Galekovic would save it given how he's been playing.

I just get so many DK vibes from him atm, the players are just not responding to his management style

This could be interesting, I wonder how the very supportive FFA will handle this? Bad publicity is not good and fans being ejected for mouthing off?

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Saw only second half, wanderes at least tried and in other games they would have at least drawn. City where pretty shark, too.

Pro or not, if you get abused in the tunnel I don’t think this is a good motivator.
