C'mon the Jets, we need City to drop points here.

Missed the build up but why no Moss? The keeper is hardly going to suffer from exhaustion surely.

Jair!! 1-0

Bad defending from Delbridge who has been quality this season.

Jets playing so much better without Vargas out there. He is a quality player but for some reason it doesn't seem to click in the final third when he is playing.

Except against us! But yes I agree Vargas has been generally poor, while Jair has failed to make th most of his opportunities. Good to see him fired up and out to impress tonight.

J-Mac taps home a deflected shot, 1-1

Get a striker in your line up and see what happens. Imagine where MC might be on the table if Joyce had been a bit more diplomatic about the Fornaroli issue.

A draw here would be no bad thing but City are pretty likely to steal all 3 points here.

Jets catch City on the counter, Champness slots it for a 2-1 lead.

Another counter and ROD makes it 3-1

Finally he pots one!

Come on Jets, one more goal and we are 5th.

Jets with Champness back and Jair firing are finding some form perhaps

That's  A-Rods 2nd goal this season.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Early lead for WSW against the Reds. Riera the scorer, looked actually shocked that he had managed to put one in the back of the net.

Janjetivic saves a Goodwin penalty minutes later. Brisk start!

Head and shoulders the best player for WSW this season. Would love this Roly in a Nix shirt.

Kitto equalizes. WSW defence is really terrible.

Permalink Permalink

Roly makes it 2-1 with a heavily deflected shot. WSW's swiss cheese defence surely wont keep the Reds at bay though.

Permalink Permalink

Riera blows a fantastic chance to make it 3-1.

Majok does make it 3! Lobbed ball through from Roly: two assists and a goal, he's having some game.

So happy that Galloway no longer plays for us.

WSW complete the most unlikely win. Thanks a bundle Roly!

CCM drop Millar & Hiariej to the bench, obviously Mulvey doesn't wanna win this one

Ouch, nasty for Oar.

CCM open the scoring, we all know how this ends tho. 0-1

I've said the same thing a few times already this round!

If I'm a Mariners fan right now I'm already feeling the pain.

We do not need this result as Sydney will be fired up for us next week.

Sydney had plenty of chances before CCM scored, I think they will take some of them in the second half as CCM try to sit back and protect the lead.

CCM have parked the bus, will it work this time? 0-1

Starting to think CCM are gonna do this, Sydney have been terrible tonight.

And here comes the collapse, penalty for Sydney. ALF makes it 1-1

Brosque is a diving cheat

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Permalink Permalink

That was about the softest penalty of all time. If you blew a pen every time a player was pushed in the box....

Where is the var?

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Permalink Permalink

Typical Brosque, buckles at the knees at the faintest of touches. He's made an art form out of that down the years.
