Lol A league observes FIFA windows and we get FIFA ads

What a chance for Taggart, he has scored 5 goals this season but could easily be in double figures with the misses he has had.

Roar saved by the post this time, fantastic ball in by Goodwin

And Taggart is done for the night, misses a great chance and just flops onto the ground behind the goals.

Halloran opens the scoring for Adelaide, 1-0.

Adelaide deserve the lead, they have had the better chances and hit the post a couple times. Gonna be a big test for Brisbane to try and come back from this.

Halloran taps in a ball for a brace after Young deflects the ball into his path, 2-0

The Slippery Fish pulls one back, 2-1. Game on

Wow, how wasn't that a hatty for Halloran?

Reagan sent off for a second yellow. Imo it should have been a straight red for the fingers to the eyes

Permalink Permalink

Agreed should have been a straight red

Mauk with a could great chances to level things up. The subs Aloisi brought on have changed the flow of the game

Red card for Mauk as he lays knocked out on the ground. So much drama and we still have a few minutes of added time for some late drama.

Knocked out and the Adelaide player picks him up by the collar. Idiot

Yeah rather dangerous action by Elsey, he could have easily caused even more damage.

That was a rather entertaining game tbh.

I dont know why Regan didnt get a yellow for the initial incident which caused the handbags. but generally, just a bunch of shark blokes doing what they do.

Tackle and getting knocked out for a red https://streamable.com/xf59e

To be fair, if there is a player in the A-League that I might want to see have his face gouged off or knocked the fudge out then it's Mauk.

He's right up there with Kevin Muscat and Jacob Burns for shark-housery.

No Big Mac for CCM, can Matt Simon fill the void?

Permalink Permalink

How was that Simon tackle not even a foul?

Permalink Permalink

Simon opens the scoring, 1-0. Can't say CCM doesn't deserve the lead tbh

Terribly lazy defending. Six defenders, two attackers in the box and still CCM scored.

Its early doors but I think Matt Millar is gonna be a handy pick up from the NPL for CCM

CCM are bossing this

And ALF levels things up from the penalty spot, 1-1

That is nuts. Not even a foul for Simon's horrible studs up tackle early on, yet Golec cops a yellow for barely touching the Sydney player who collapsed theatrically to the ground.

Bring back those overseas refs from last weekend

Pretty harsh on the Mariners. Deserved at least a point from that.

Very nice ball from Antonis, puts it on a plate for Honda to score.

Yikes, WSW getting an absolute hiding. Kosta's penalty makes it 3-0.

Now that is a damned fine goal from MV.

4-0

Only thing that surprises me about this is that it was the Home end. The SydNix guys went to Gosford last year and the security assigned to watch the away bay had a nap in his chair.

My favourite bit was in the second video he posted of it where someone says "If this goes to court he isn't going to have a leg to stand on"

Hope he didn't shell out for a season ticket or he's flushed that money down the toilet.

Wearing NRL clothes, think he's a casual.

On other great notes, weather tonight looks wonderful too!

Gotta say I think CCM are playing a lot better than what the table shows atm, they just seem to be finding ways to lose. Wanderers/Nix/Jets in the next 3 weeks, so their luck will probably turn soon.

Melbourne 1-0 up against Newcastle.
