WSW starts well but early on some of those Blue players went down easy! Sydney came back into it and the Wanderers’ fouling really did pick up, but 9 fouls to nil?!? Muller great shot that hit the crossbar. Could have done better: Duke header, KBar volley.

You know it's not a great game when you are noticing how good the ref is rather than the action itself. A League is lucky to have Faghani.

Has got interesting in the last 15 minutes or so though. WSW might pull this off.

I'm not surprised Corica had a go at Georgievski in the tunnel. It was a pretty malicious kick from G on Sydney's young fulla.

I thought this referee was quite good. Amazing how Sydney seem to get the good ones doing their games and we get the likes of Kersey. 2 flares from WSW and no recriminations.

Didn't Dome complain to the FFA that the Phoenix got all the inexperienced referees? I remember something along those lines and it's just one of the many small ways that the Phoenix have the odds stacked against them.

Hopefully Mambo impresses the news coach and picks up a news deal, a few journos have speculated that they might try for Janjetovic for next season cuz of his agent's relationship with the new manger. 

Interesting reading about Janjetovic's horror season and the undisclosed injury that was obviously effecting his game so badly. In retrospect it seems extraordinary that the coaching staff kept him in the line up for so long. They really hung him out to dry.

As for Mambo, I'm pleased for him that he's actually making a difference. He seems a lot more confident now that he's been entrusted with the job, but I always feel he's just a split second away from an absolute howler.

So many chances for MV. Marco probably should've buried his too.

I've never seen a Victory side so obviously struggling for form and confidence.

Victory the better side but one defensive lapse cost them.

Is Nabbout the most over rated player in the A League?

Was genuinely an excellent player at the Jets but not a good fit with MV imo.
