So we want Roar to win so that Perth go into the game vs us with no confidence?  Made sense to me anyway.

Hoping for a boilover and a few red-cards or suspensions.  Are any players one yellow card away from a suspension?

Its been 8 Minutes, and already the commentators have said that
1. The Phoenix played Newcastle last night
and 2. That CCM ruined their chances at making their first finals appearance.

1-0 Scott Neville.

McBreen and Harnwell up front...

Hopefully McBreen doesn't tear us a new one again. No idea how we always falter against hack lumbering forwards

Im pretty sure Van Dijk is only moving to Adelaide for the ACL and then returning to the Roar for 2010/2011.

edit: if thats what you mean by no Van Dijk (i have no idea if hes actually playing tonight for Roar)

Lots of send-offs, pulled hammys and corked thighs for Perth in the 2nd half thanks.

Better to beat them when they are at full strength. = no excuses form them and more confidence for our boys.  We don't need them weaker. We can do it anyway.

Its it Kossie? His research was appalling last time he did the Phoenix.

Caravella looked like he had the sulks coming on, like "why the hell wasn't I on to begin with?". Bad temper's now earned him a yellow.

An extra 36 seconds found by Ben Williams on top of the added 2 minutes, ensuring that everyone in the ground was looking at him when he grandly blew his whistle. Prat.

Was good work on the goal by Williams, he cut across the retreating defender quite well, so he'd either shoot or draw a penalty.

Look on Miron's face in the sheds tells it all.
