Still buzzing from the game this morning but still some interesting games this arvo. Brisbane are missing so many players it's not funny. Their discipline problems aren't limited to the players: Farina just got done for drink driving (again). Nice example, Frank!

Even without Culina and Smeltz GCU will surely win this one. The other one, who knows.

Anyone know how far away Brockie is from returning to Fury ? Still injured or just not being picked ?

He was saying the other week he was available for this morning, so you've gotto think not selected.

And just looked at the preview for the game and he was in the squad for the game, so just not picked.

Poor quality game but the greasy surface isn't helping.

They'll be lucky to hold on at this rate.

Daal makes me laugh every time I see him but he actually has added quite a bit of impetus to the Fury the last 2 or 3 times he's come on as sub.

...and then that.

GCU going with the old T formation 4-2-2-2. Farina suspended indefinetly. Brisbane kindergartens have been emptied to put a team on the field.

Is that Ben Williams I see ?

So, this will be all about the referee.  That was a disgraceful dive from the Brazilian there.

Porter goal. 1-0 GCU.

Some bullsh*t from Harper about how Pantelidis was falling over "in expectation of the contact". Nice description of a dive, and Pantelidis seems to be pretty skillful in that department.

But how about Nichols attempted "Hand of Dodd' moment? Perfectly sums up Brisbane's chronic stupidity and lack of discipline.

GCU's defence looks eggshell fragile out there.

Nichoils is the new Kruse to me.  All hype from his first few games and very little substance and getting worse by the game.

Believing his own hype.

Ben Williams must have been given the word. After hanging Velaphi out to dry with clear contact from NQF player, now he blows up as when Dodd gets near the GCU keeper.

And there are more arguments on the lack of yellow cards being handed out. There have been a lot of cynical tackles in recent weeks that have gone without a card.

Maybe the FFA freaked at how many yellows were handed out in earlier rounds, and now are trying to go the opposite way by not handing out too many?

Card number 39 for Brisbane this season. McKay anxious to keep up the tradition.
