The second defender this weekend who has ignored that old adage of "never play the ball across goal in your own area" with disastrous consequences.

And people whinge about Hearfield and Lochhead. Incredible pair of howlers by de Vere.

I think you've gotta allocate some of the blame to Theo on that 2nd goal.

Yeah maybe, although de Vere's reaction immediatly after the goal told a story. It was really his responsibilty to deal with that ball.

Brisbane obviously want to score. But dont seem to be making any real effort considering the time.

I would like to see a bit more desperation.Stefan2010-09-12 18:57:32

Beautiful cross for Culina to score. The sort of delivery we need more of.

Lovely cross by Fitzsimmons actually

(Snap) and would love some of those by Leo or Troy

Whatever happened to that rule that benefit of the doubt went to the attacking team in offside calls? Culina at least level there and the goal should've stood for me.

There is no such rule.

You've got that wrong HN - in actuality, the opposite is in fact the opening line of the ref's job description manual.

A first for me this weekend. I enjoyed a Gold Coast win.

The combination of Smeltz going, not visiting Aus 442, and them playing Perth has given me a novelty.  Thanks Gold Coast.

Incidentally, who was the comments man who was so clearly a Liverpool fan and fapped on and on and on about them?

How's my driving? - Whine here
