I was wondering, if anyone would be interested in a messageboard tipping comp? Im happy to keep track of the scores for one, if there was people interested.
Basic idea would be, when the TAB odds come out for the weeks game, a thread is made with the games and odds, and people reply their picks. You get points based on the TAB odds for the correct picks, with Nix games counting as double point games. This way picking upsets gains you more points than picking a favorite to win would.
For example, if you picked Melbourne to win the first game, and they were paying $2.75, you would get 2.75 points if they won. If you pick the Nix to win and they are paying $2.75, if they won you would get 5.50 points

In season one we had a tipping comp but it crashed and then the HN and co said it was coming back for season two but never did in the end...
We could use that if people wanted, it does 'Price Tipping' but dont think its possible to do double point options for the Phoenix games.
