Best half of football by the Roar in the last month. Probably should have scored a couple goals.

Much, much better from Brisbane. They haven't been afraid to take shots rather than pass the ball into the net.

Interesting, the Brisbane goal was very simple compared to how they have been trying to score for the past month

Victory are letting the Roar have acres of space behind their full backs, no one has let them have any room for weeks.

Was Ange allowed to go onto the field during his goal celebration?

Technically no, has to stay in the technical area, but I doubt he will get in trouble for it

Lino was staring at him but didn't seem fussed so I wasn't sure. Thanks :)

Wish Rojas stayed in Wellington. I bet Marco himself is in a stage of denial.

Gives him more time to use the facilities, AND Harry and Carlos aren't around to kick him off.

Seriously though, it is quite sad. There was always the possibility this could happen. Really wish he had stayed and been an integral part of our side, and a local hero to help promote the side, and have a shop window to attract overseas attention.

In other news, LOL at Victory!

You'd think Rojas would be starting ahead of the likes of Bertos if he was here, but cant say he wasn't warned this would happen to him

His dad thought he could be a great CM.

He was already one of the best wingers in the A-League despite playing barely half a season. He had a pick up where he left off this season...and could easily have been off to greener pastures by now - with our blessings.

Archie diplomatic in his post-game interview.

League closing right up after this week's results.

Imperative we pick up points at home next week in a home double, because there are plenty of road games coming up

Like how they lost 3-1. Wish the tards were coming back to wellington this season. Love to hear the chant "what a waste of money" again.

The incident involving Billy Mehmet (Perth Glory) in or around the 33rd minute of Perth Glorys match against Newcastle Jets on Saturday afternoon.

The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the player was issued with a direct red card by the referee for serious foul play.

In reviewing the incident, the MRP considered an Obvious Error Application submitted by Perth Glory.  Determining the Obvious Error Application in accordance with the A-League Disciplinary Regulations, the MRP unanimously found that it should be upheld and that the decision of the referee was one that no referee in the possession of the facts, including all Broadcast Footage, could reasonably have made.

Accordingly, the Player will have the red card expunged from his record and will be available to play in the midweek round of the Hyundai A-League.

I bet fantasy football doesn't give him the points back that he lost by getting sent off... the same thing happened with Wardy.
