A good result for us, but I feel a bit cheated.

Great run by Rose, was he this good at the Knights?

He was shocking at the Knights, but was only a kid.

I thought that they're only overturned if the ref has got it wrong technically, not on his interpretation

There was no contact with the player and no studs raised, therefore no dangerous play occurred, therefore decision was technically wrong
There were studs up on his leading foot

It could be intent.

Crap, wanted CCM to score a late equaliser.  BUGGER! Melbourne on the up   Only positive is that it seems Marco played ok, bodes well for match against Jamaica in a few weeks.

Personally I think the red was harsh, but my complaint is more with the ludicrous inconsistency of Green. If a studs up tackle from behind can go completely unpunished while a studs up tackle from the side gets a straight red you've got a major problem with your ref.

Leijer should have at least got a yellow. He is one of the dirtiest players in the league, and has been for a number of years.

I wonder what training ground gem Slater can share with Mel tonight?

Slater using the word "Swallow" sitting next to Mel should be a crime.

They both agreed that Harry was quiet in the 1st half but got better as the game went on.

Mel: "Do teams look at the table"?
Slater: "Of course they look at the table [you silly tart]".

THis won't be popular - but I'm with slats on that one.

I could see Slater's boner from here as he kept talking about the Gorgeous one ("hardly ever gives the ball away... uh, uh, uh. Did well to get horizontal... yes, yes, yes. Made it look easy.... OMG, I'm coming."

Whoa, dissing the chipmunk. The hormonally overheated hereabouts will be up in arms. Recant while there is still time.
