The Central Coast Mariners have this morning formally informed Football Federation Australia of their intention to appeal a two-match suspension handed down to right-back Pedj Bojic.
Yesterday, the Independent Match Review Panel handed down the sanction as a result of an alleged incident involving Bojic, in the 56th minute of Sunday�s 2-nil victory over Adelaide United at Bluetongue Stadium.
But the Mariners will today lodge written submissions to FFA before its 5:00pm deadline.

The Central Coast Mariners have this morning formally informed Football Federation Australia of their intention to appeal a two-match suspension handed down to right-back Pedj Bojic.
Yesterday, the Independent Match Review Panel handed down the sanction as a result of an alleged incident involving Bojic, in the 56th minute of Sunday�s 2-nil victory over Adelaide United at Bluetongue Stadium.
But the Mariners will today lodge written submissions to FFA before its 5:00pm deadline.

Bojic hit the guy in the face with his elbow while they were both on the ground.
He deserves the 2 match ban, and I hope the appeal fails.
