Interesting fact at the top end of our division table.

Waihi Beach (3rd place)  have been "inactive" (see the blue square to the left of their name) since after the first game of the season.

Depite this they are the only unbeaten side in the competition. Odd.

lost 10-0 to 11 shots... my keeper was shit to say the least. meanwhile i had 7 shots 6 on target and end up with 0... a red card and yellow meaning i have more suspensions for next game which was a must win...

There was snow at Homebush Road for tonight's big game against second place Kura Hard Gs, which was a big disappointment as I was hoping it would be a capacity 40,000 crowd... alas it was just 26k.

The Trains trailed 0 - 1 and later 1 - 2 but came back to equalise a second time and then win it 3 - 2. Get in! Big RESULT!

11 points clear with 4 to play.

And crucially Pat Lewis had 2 goal, man of the macth 9.5 rating, while Kura's Samuel Krajnik was held goaless. His 4.4 rating performance saw him give up a 0.20 lead in the highest rating race to be over taken for the first time this season by Lewis.

Chew, chew! Morale is high!

Had the better of each game too, so quite rough to lose them all.

reserves went down 0-5 this evening, 1sts won 4-0. We remain 5th on GD alone, equal points with 4th. We play the 3rd placed team next, have played them 9 times, winning 3, losing 4 and drawing twice - last game was a 1-0 victory.

So relegation is all but confirmed unless some teams get banned or inactive. Even then winning a playoff maybe hard. On the plus side my b team won there first ever game even though they were dominated

if results go my way I'll go into the play off spot (4th) to gain promotion, think I'd rather hold onto 5th and try and strengthen my squad, it's getting to the stage nmow where I need a couple of 4.5* players to help out.
