Go to the player listing.

Untick the training radio button at the top left.

Now on the right hand end of each player's row there is an up/down arrow that allows you to promote and demote players.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Ahh, if only you didn't take your Aussie side seriously you could send him the YF's way without telling anyone! ;-)

My best pull just got him yesterday! 4.5/5 star potential. In the position I need as well!

Everyone seems to be pulling top players these days, I was pretty rapt with my two 3.5 star midfielders but maybe I'm still getting the dregs of TM!

We appreciate your sacrifices for us. Without people like you taking the rubbish players they'd still be in the pool when it was our turn to draw new youth players. So, a heartfelt thanks, mate. Well done.

Well I got a 3* & 4* today, but surely someone is having a laugh.

The 3* is a Forward with Finishing 1

The 4* is a Left Back with Marking 3 & Tackling 5

Going to hire both of them and hope with serious training I can do something about it.

That's fine, just change their position. *rolls eyes*

Stupid change to the game...
The DL would possibly be good as a MC, but not sure the Striker could take up any role...

The 3 star striker sounds like a classic TM move, where the youth development scout is probably wrong by a mile.

Yeah, just scouted him - 1.5 stars

Yup. At least the DL is a 3.5 according to my best scout, so is some hope there.

Pulled a 4.5 star striker for my nz team!

This is just after downgrading my youth academy a couple of levels. Hmmm.

I will keep that in mind when I get a free ticket again, played a 2-1 defeat against N-Bomb's reserves with my U20s side.

Well happy enough to pull a 4.5* Left wing today, meet Tony Gray, tempted to put him in as my sub winger straight away, for the first time in a while my scouts actually say 4.5* as well as Youth Dev.

great stamina and passing already, really low crossing for a winger though, would almost be worth spendng the 100 pro days to make him a CM.

If he really is 4.5 (how good are your scouts?) then definitely chuck him on the bench straight away, get routine building up - he's bound to be the future of your team so might as well. For now just play him when up 2 or down 2, and go from there.

my worst scout has him at 4.5*, (only 15 youth) I'll get my 20 youth scout to check him out when he returns.

And I agree with N-bomb, get him on the bench now to build his routine.

Put him on the bench immediately and on a wing training schedule, might change it to focus more on crossing as that is his clear weakness.

I used Duncan Bates to scout him Sen: 19, Yth: 20, Dev: 20, so reasonably confident in what he says around stars.

Will get his first game off the bench tonight. Thinking I am going to change to Wings as my attack method as my wingers and fullbacks seem a strength of my side. And my striker can head the ball reasonably well.

Just pulled a 4 star player, only problem is that he's a DMR! Might have to hold onto him for when my 3.5 MR gets old and start a different formation.

Permalink Permalink

pulled a 3.5 potential MR and put him up or sale immediately - already at 2*, also pulled a 4*potential CM which is what I really wanted, need some back up for my aging CM.

Grabbed two 3.5 star guys today, both in positions where I have good depth, should be able to train them up and use them or sell them so pretty happy.

check out the two I pulled today - pity I wont have the cash to buy them until tomorrow!!!

Nice! Going to sell them or train them up for your first team?

I got my usual nothing. Which is ok, because I'm 7mill in debt and that would have got about 35-40mill worse today. May need to sell one of my starting players :( its a very bare looking squad I have now.

dc will go stargiht into the starting lineup, then the cm will move there when he hits 3.5/4* which will mean I can sell one of my imports.

Ivan Hyde - my first five star prospect, and he's a striker, and only 15. Going to have to build up his routine massively.

Finally got a 4.5 potential guy. DML/DL. Pulled as a 4 star, scouted as a 4.5

Also got another 4 star guy who I'll probably sell of when he reaches 18.

pulled anbother 3.5* player, I have 2 now that I can't afford, both 20 sitting on 2* at the moment, so I'll buy them play them in the yoof team for a bit then sell them early next season.

I desperately need an age accelerator.

My star number 1 goalie retired, and franlky, my reserve guy has not developed as hoped. He's still a 9200 SI 2.5 star fill in if you're desperate guy. I had hoped he'd be 15,000+ 3.5 stars by now. Oh well.

So I have two potential super goalies in the pipelines:

1. Quite promising... http://trophymanager.com/players/91931099/Ian_Renton/#/page/history/

and

2. Really promising... http://trophymanager.com/players/91735903/Ed_Moir/#/page/history/

I just need them ready to play and/or sell now, not later.

*sigh*

I'm in a similar position, I have club stalwart Jim Duck who has played over 150 excellent games for the club but is now 31 and declining, Damien Armit was meant to be his short-term replacement but his routine and skills still aren't quite there in comparison to Duck, and then there's 4.5 star potential Craig Flower who is the long-term Kiwi keeper I'm hoping for but needs another 2 seasons at least until he can be started.

Tough dilemma - do I stick with Duck for another season after this, buy an old foreign keeper for a few years or give Armit a run next season?

Permalink Permalink

Play Armit ahead of the Duck. It's not like the Duck is THAT much better...
