Peow FC with 2 red cards in 4 games is quite impressive too!

As is Tawa AFC with 4 wins from 4.

Nothing about Tawa is impressive mate. It's a swamp...

An excellent night last night in Division 4 as the underdogs pulled off a pair of upsets, Tawa dominated me off the park, but our defence and keeper kept them out and I got a goal from my new midfielder to gain the victory, and even a red card to my young central defender didn't hurt us.

Woot! Should be a less painful than usual night in the Premiership for me tonight!

YES! Cracked that unbeaten Tawa, and had the other league result go my way as well, the promotion spots are still reachable even after a terrible first half.

It pretty much is a race for second, my team under-performed at the start of the campaign, me and LHL are pretty similar teams but I think I might have left my run too late, might just have to play spoiler instead

Might be playing the underdog a bit there. That last win puts you right back in it, just 2 points back with a few to play. Probably doesnt help that you've already played Los (what's the shorter nickname for your team?) twice mind you.

Yeah don't think we can catch Tawa, but a win in that game is huge for me. I defeated LHL in the league already this season, so hopefully the new keeper + midfield changes can make a difference. Looks like a bye for me this week.

Going very attacking tonight against Surge, if I lose at least it should be 5-2 or so, otherwise it might help out my goal difference. Should be fun to watch either way.

Double figures against the trains. Sorry!

3-3 against Elite tonight, playing well but cant defend for shit!

Well a win for Tawa means they have gained promotion and top spot in the league, while a draw between Surge & Whippingboys keeps it tight for second in Div 4. Glad to have the game in hand now.

Grrrr damn you Surge, my bogey team, two goals to his star and I couldn't quite nab a third, that's that probably.

You're welcome... though to be fair I'm on an epic unbeaten run (well, for me). Jagged another 3-0 win last night.

2-0 loss to Tawa AFC, the clincher coming in injury time after I threw everything forward, can't say I'm too pleased after seeing that their goalscorer was injured and their four star defender suspended - figured with promotion wrapped up there would be no need to play these guys! I sure didn't. Looks like it'll me v Surge to decide the spoon

So I got F'ed up by the Fafe then?... not unexpected!

Sometimes its difficult to change the squad in time for the game.  With the time changes, I know I'm finding it difficult to get home in time for 6pm to amend my squad (I don't have access at work and sometimes I don't watch the previous game until the next day anyway, so my squad can be the same two games running).

Also this. Have to remember to change team as soon as I watch the last game or my players are still in there.

Bloody hell I'm slack at this lately. Sorry guys!

TTU beat me 2-0 which sets up an interesting end to the season. I'm ahead by a fair margin on goal difference though, so it is in my own hands.

the next two rounds in div three are going to prove interesting. If wellington phoenix fc can beat highlands FC by three or more they will go top of the table on GD, provide the RCNS guys lose the following week then the Nix will take the league.

Having done the double over you, i'd say we deserve to win the league.

If we don't, we'll go up anyway, so not too bothered.

Three for me, and two for them.

Permalink Permalink

Suspensions and rotation for me in my last game, two suspended centre backs plus I'm going to give some youngsters a run out, I'm likely to get the spoon anyway so might as well try something new

Permalink Permalink

I am missing one centre back, but going for promotion so need to get every result I can. :)

Final round against LHL will most likely decide it, but need any advantage I can gain.

oh I agree in part, you've beaten me twice so it would be dissapointing to see you drop due to losing to one of the lower teams - having said that if you can't beat one of them to keep first do you really deserve that #1 spot?
