nice 1-1 draw here. how do cards work, do they roll over to league games or just friendly league?

Just the league. Injuries and suspensions don't count for the fever league thankfully. 

Different people have different etiquettes about that. Some play people regardless. I leave out suspended and injured players (also partly because I think ill forget to change line up), others leave out injured but keep suspended players (figuring they're suspended for the domestic league only). 

But yeah friendly leagues are basically in sandbox mode.

Second time in three days my striker has come off the bench to tie the game up, 1-1 here, gonna have to start giving him starts again.

bit of a dicey start for the nix against the highlanders, 0-1 at 22, but my malaysian striker finally found the back of the net after a few scorelss games with 2 in 4 minutes.....2-1 at 40,
