Alright folks,

It's back and probably about the same quality as last year. It's 12 pubs of Lochhead.  For those not in the know, this is the third we've run 12 pubs where we start from our good friends at Four King, and visit a hand full of pubs on the way to the Phoenix game, before returning to Courtenay Place after the game via a few more pubs.  Last year we visited such places as...

Mac Brewary...

St John's...

Dockside...

Fox glove..

the royal ..

And then the rest is a bit of a blur.

So this year, before the CCM game on Saturday the 22nd, make sure you get involved,  Here is the (very loose) itinerary for the game and hopefully we can get a few drink specials at a few bars.

12:00pm Four Kings (Cnr Taranaki St & Dixon)

1:00pm Mac Brewbar (4 Taranaki Street)

1:30pm St John's (5 Cable Street)

2:00pm Dockside (Jervois Quay)

2:30pm Foxglove (Shed 3/2-6 Jervois Quay)

3:00pm Leuven (135-137 Featherston Street)

3:30pm The Pub  (101 The Terrace)

5:00pm Phoenix game

7:30pm The Occidental  (101 Lambton Quay)

8:00pm The Royal (132 Lambton Quay)

8:30pm Featherston Bar & Grill (Corner Of Johnston Street & Featherston Street)

9:00pm The Greenman (Corner Of Willeston And Victoria Street)

11:00pm Electric Ave (132 Courtenay Place)

Think a few might take a detour at 9.30 back to Four Kings for the Melbourne Derby... and then straight back onto Electric Ave afterwards.

Hmm not sure, Green Man was quality last year (from hazy memory). Am sure can get them to put it on the telly there.

Hmm. Seems I was smashed by Docky. Hell of a day, get amongst.

Slam some tequilas for me. I'll be stuck in Paris, though will neck a cidre carafe in memory.

They put a bus on to the stadium from the pub on game days, so they'd be well behind accommodating the football crowd I imagine.

Used to be the Nix corporate hang out as it was close to Terry's Towers.

Also I think the Squadron were based there too?

Pitch a beer tent of Parliament grounds. Think up some sort of protest around football and call it the Yellow Fever embassy.

Couple of pissheads inside could join us thou :\

Including post-game tag-alongs who can't make it to the afternoon festivities? We'll make up for it with double pints at each pub, we promise!

If anybody sees me with an alcoholic beverage in my hand after 10pm, and I mean ANYONE, please tap me on the shoulder and remind me that I am flying home for Christmas the next morning at 10am and that I should return IMMEDIATELY to the bar to get several glasses of water to commence "Operation Sober Cooper!"

Ill happily direct you to electric ave for copious amounts of shape cutting (until midnight when I really should be heading to bed!)
