These jerseys will be worth a mint. Not often you get beaten 5-0 at home.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I was thinking it was more reason not to buy one :) At least with the previous charity shirts, we didn't lose wearing them. Still, its all good for Surf Lifesaving so bid away and yes, I have put a bid on.

I'm guessing Boxall's would be a large and Hicks would be a small :)

I'm pissed off, a Nix kit in Partick Thistle colours and I can't afford to buy one. I'm the only person in the World who liked the strip, but everyone is bidding on them! Bastards!  ;-)

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I would guess that is a bar/Pub account or Manager aiming to get one for a competition, happened last time too...

The bizarre thing about that shirt was I am sure loads of people initialy thought that Heart were  the team in the red charity shirt. I was sitting at half way near the back....its hard to make out the players from that distance. When Heart scored their first goal quite a few people leapt to their feet and loads of people clapped and cheered. I had to explain to an elderly couple near me that the Nix were in red. They thought we were playing in our away white strip

auctions all closed, no last minute bids it seems.  $6,432.50 to Surf Life Saving.  What did they make last year?  I notice the nix twitter didn't tweet a reminder to bid, but the facebook page did.

Dura seemed to fetch a low price considering what an important part of the club he's been. What was with the high price for Italiano's shirt? Strange.

Kinda stink I couldn't keep bidding but congrats to those who got a jersey... If you (like me) placed a bid or three but couldn't keep going - chuck a tenner or two toward SLSNZ, you'll feel better having done so!

They all went pretty cheap - wouldn't be too far off what you'd expect to pay if they were available for general sale. If i actually had internet this last week I wouldve made sure i got one.

Were the auctions for the shirts only or the full kits?

By the way that's ~$2.2k less than last year.

Fewer shirts this year though. The per shirt price is about the same.

Economists, someone say something about elasticity of demand asap.

I would have got one but my stomach demands more elasticity.

I am surprised that they went for that much, yes I know it was a great cause and they were a one off, but they were damned ugly and we lost 5-0 in them!!
