I think Wellnix are fantastic- but they do want to make a profit and no one is 100%...infratil after all are the people who put the hop card in auckland before the errr...hop card which had won the tender was due to go in...

hope I'm completely wrong, but a combination of the awesome Phoenix, FFA dicks and Sky, NZF etc etc who are also parties to all the money trail isn't an inspiring mix.

They're all okay. Troisi has had some pretty dickish haircuts, but that's about it.

The latter two would not come to us and Ruka isn't really good enough.

The "off-field concerns" which have been a stumbling block might also be nothing to do with the license issue - it could be players not wanting to shift to Wellington, or even them not being impressed by our infamous substandard training facilities, or something else entirely.

More than likely the statement refers to concerns about the player and their off-field antics, nothing to do with the Nix or Wellington.

One Phoenix owner was keeping it very close to his chest on Saturday evening.  Offering a firm no comment.
