WELLINGTON PHOENIX SEASON TICKET HOLDERS & MEMBERS FORUM

As a 2015/16 Wellington Phoenix Season Ticket holder or Member, we'd like to invite you to our Pre-season Members Forum.

Join us on Wednesday 19 August for an evening where you can hear from Club Coaching Staff, General Manager David Dome and Chairman Rob Morrison.

It's a great opportunity to ask questions and hear from Club staff and players with their take on pre-season preparations and what's planned for the Club during the 2015/16 season - our ninth season in the A-League.

We'll also have a few prizes to give away!

When: Wednesday 19 August from 5.45pm with light drinks and nibbles. The forum will start at 6pm.

Venue: Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, Oriental Parade, Wellington.

If you know someone who hasn't signed up for their 2015/16 membership yet - they won't have received this email! Make sure they renew or sign up now.

This is a great opportunity to get some insight into the Club and ask all those questions you've been dying to.

Please email ibelieve@wellingtonphoenix.com to RSVP now to secure your place with your membership number.

Thanks for your support.

Great. Another forum for the Phoenix. Won't be as good as this one (but hopefully better than 442).

Maybe they are waiting for your money before they can sign him up.

I left before the questions, but there wasn't really anything new. In saying that I did leave with the feeling that Wellnix have a long term plan for the Nix which is really starting to crank into action (with the youth teams etc) and bodes well for the future.

Seriously? Wow. So you honestly are saying that in the unlikely event that they don't sign someone, you won't be buying a season ticket?

I respect that people have different values, situations, and agendas, but honestly - I can't wrap my head around thinking like that. I just can't understand how I could be that uninvested in the club...

A BIG thankyou to the club for an excellent, informative and interesting night. Very pleased I went along, very pleased with how the club is going too.

Definitely. Big thanks to the club. These sort of events are a great step towards building a feeling of "ownership" of the club by the fans that is so foreign to NZers (as pointed out on the night).

The other thing the night reinforced was that Wellnix are smart cookies (not much of a shock) and have a million times more foresight than the average punter on here (myself included) especially the ones who are just asking them to 'fix' things by forking out another $500k for a marquee. The insight from Rob into their plans for finding Asian sponsors, tapping into the international student market etc was fascinating.

I can get it.  If you feel like your side is going to lose all season it may not be worth the money, especially if you don't have too much disposable income.

I'll be getting my pass soon because I love my Nixies.
