Inter squad game @ ROF This Saturday...

Do you think they will let us on the pitch around the field for this inter squad game, as if we were at weka park rather than in the stands? 

Can someone ask the Nix if this is possible? 

All bets are off if the weather is shark...and it's a loooong walk back to the toilets and I guess no food or drink if it's an option.

But hey, given the option I'd say yes please

can someone confirm the details for the intersquad game... Location (rof)  ring of fire...? Westpac..?  Open to the general public..?  I have been trying to find details on this and have come up short..

Hey Mark, yes ring of fire is Westpac Stadium. Game is 12pm and is only open to members, if you don't have your membership card then apparently email confirmation of your membership is enough

Squad looks a bit lightweight, and not particularly mobile.

Already looks better than our defence at times last year.

That new strip seems a little flat - though I like the lack of sponsors logo's.

Wouldn't most of our squad have school?

Has been advertised on the Phoenix Academy page as an U17 fixture. Think I'll stick to watching Chat Cup.

Have any preseason fixtures been announced yet? The FFA cup draw is next Thursday, with the first round games being played between the 25th of July and the 9th of August. Obviously nothing much can happen until the AWs are back, but if we're going to take the cup at least semi-seriously it'd be good to have a few hit outs before then.
