Ok, one of ours arrived on Monday. They combined Micki's pack with mine. But who gets what?

The package contained: 1 scarf, 1 swimming togs bag(Well that's what it is going to be used for), 1 magnet, 1 keyring, 1 autograph book, 2 letters (The same one), 1 sticker, and our Season Tickets.

I am expecting Ta's to arrive in a few weeks as I only bought it at the open day.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

It was caps for a few seasons, it's been scarves for the last few seasons. Probably next season they should change it up.

Mine arrived yesterday.  First one, so got scarf / magnet and keyring.  Do they bump it up each season or does it depend if you were a foundation member?

I think it would have been good, if there was an enclosed list of what you were getting in the pack.

This was posted on the WU site a mere 5 hours ago. No joke.

Western United members will receive an e-card version of their membership via email prior to the first home game this Saturday.

The club strongly encourages members to print their e-card to ensure smooth access into the ground.

Members who purchased their membership before September 22 will receive their membership packs this week.

Nobody panic, if you purchased your membership before Sept 22, it's arriving this later this week!

We had 5,600 last year. Get a few wins and I think it's definitely achievable.

There was around 1,000 season tickets donated to local refugees last year which would have been included in the stats.  So we are probably on par with last season in terms of paying membership.

I think they did something like a ticket to a game and a membership pack for a ridiculously low price which gets counted in their membership numbers.

I would expect our membership to be higher than that of CCM, as they have a relatively limited population and the area, and have to compete with the Jets and to a lesser degree the two Sydney clubs for members in the overlapping areas around Hawkesbury River.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Does Michael Charlesworth own the Central Coast leagues Club in Gosford?

Most would use CCM membership to get the subsidised food, access to the other venues in the building if he does.

What really matters is that Nix are getting bigger crowds, have more stable owners and are higher up the league table.

Permalink Permalink

On this, memberships aren't a good proxy for crowds.

Permalink Permalink

An improved crowd for the 2nd Eden Park game, a home playoff, and the Nix could finish in the top half re average crowd size.

Currently 9th on that list, but 4 teams all only averaging less than a 1,000 souls more per game, that could overtake.

The rise in Adelaide crowds (if this is how the right side column says) is surprising.

Nice that the Rudan crap at the end of the season doesn't appear to have stuff it either. I'm sure others like me where thinking this might be a rebuilding year but I feel like Ufuk has already got us there and I think the membership numbers show this as well as more get on the bandwagon (and they are welcome too)

Having coaxed a few folk that used to go regularly back, it seems like they were scared of getting burnt so stopped all together . But as a football fan, thats always gonna happen at some point. Hoping that I can convince them by the end of the season that a new season pass is the way forward.

Much as I hate all that metrics stuff it's good to see some positive stats to back up the improvements on the field both last season and this season. Current average home attendance is a creditable 8084 with potential for that to rise if we can maintain our form and public interest.

Compare that to MC, a club that's flying high but whose average is practically the same. And if you took out the 17k from their derby with MV that average would be a lot lower. In fact some quite concerning stats there for the A League overall but at least for the Nix there is a sense that we are pulling our weight in key areas.

Got an email from Ticketec saying a credit would be coming on the season pass for the games that arnt going ahead. Would have been happy if they had given an option to refuse it and donate the money to club.

The Ticketek email refers to individual tickets bought for the final two home games, rather than season passes.
