Yeah, I'd say we're still an RB and another forward short of a complete-ish team.
And our score would be two - love (it came from French word for egg)
Seen plenty criticising the more first-team players and praising the academy lads - got no problem with that but in terms of fitness definitely worth noting the academy youngsters will be a lot fitter right now, as we're right in the thick of the Central League season, whereas idk when the likes of Kraev, Wootton last played a full competitive game.
Can I just say that I think "Round of 16/32" sound shabby, and we should have French-style names: "eighth-finals" and "sixteenth-finals"
One thing I didn't love was Al-Taay playing out of position at RB and not looking great at it. While I think our starting backline is Payne/Wootton/Surman/Sutton (assuming no additions/injuries), I am concerned about the lack of depth at RB. Hope Chief has something is the works.

Just reviewing the match statistics on Wyscout. Pennington won the ball 27 times including 21 Duels and 6 interceptions.
Consider that the club did a Facebook profile of Ugarkovic last season and he'd won the ball 14 times. It was "wow Ugarkovic".
I don't think that Pennington has ever won the ball less than 16 times playing with the Nix.
I will post a photo of the stats tomorrow. Hopefully.

I'm genuinely glad you're back this season to give us more Pennington factoids 💛 🖤
