These ticket sales numbers are bloody amazing. Never thought I'd see it in NZ in my lifetime.

Cathay Pacific are quoting NZD4,000 for Kunming - Wellington, no seats available on Malaysian Airlines   At least I will be there in spirit!

Perhaps they're doing what we want them to - creating a (slightly exaggerated) hype on the tickets so they DO sell out.

You're not. That Twitter is something I started months ago simply to fill a gap. CCM and NQF's accounts are unofficial too, AFAIK only SFC and MV have club run accounts. I don't work for the club, I'm just a fan. I have the same sources as everyone else, I just collect and present. The disclaimer you quoted is something I put up to protect the club in the event of me screwing up

I originally tweeted 16K then saw 20K on the YF acct. So I updated. I was considering changing back but since I've been quoted by many others, incl FourForTwo, I decided to leave it. Besides, it'll be accurate soon In retrospect I should have  RT'd the YF tweet instead of just updating the figure
