Today Willy Gerdsen, whos the manager of East Coast Bays confirmed he is likely to loose 3 players to the Wellington Phoenix.
Jacob Spoonley and Phil Edgington are both pretty much
definets. He wouldnt reveale the other 1, and we are unsure who it
could be. Lee Kenyon (ex Kingz), Michael Bell? Dan Peat?

Personally I'd have Boxall ahead of him as an U-20 defender, but
there you go.
'Chopper' Kenyon, now there is a blast from the bast.

Saw him the other night out with Soupy Campbell and we talked about
getting on the piss for the FA Cup final so I doubt it.

They'll grab spoon, have to, we lose both our keepers to
international duty during the season, so need another keeper.
Is Phil any good, I don't want a Bunce clone... dahhhh I kick
the ball long.... It'd be nice to have a defender who can play the
ball out from the back.
Also good to have these boys training professionally, will
help for the youth world cups.
Go the nix... i'm getting excited how far is the season?

Well Spoonley was training with Mark Paston yesterday at East Coast
Bays.
Phil is good, good mentally, can play it out too.

Spoonley is a no branier as your 3rd choice goalkeeper. Phil is a
good athlete from what Ive seen but not sure if he has the ball
playing ability to play in the a-league but I guess its who you
paired him up with.

I will ask Spooners brother wether hes gonna sign or not
