I'd be interested to know if fouls where advantage is played are conted, I suspect not but should be as the player has infringed to a standard worthy of a foul just no free kick given.

Anyone who wants to question the work rate of Manny Muscat needs to take a look at his match stats on this!

Phenomenal!!!!

Great stuff, I guess they've seen the success of ONCE. At least this is free

If your looking for shot stats for players you can find them listed team by team on ESPN here:

Interesting the Fenton has had 15 fouls committed on him already. Targeted much?

Reminds me of the treatment that both Kosta and Marco used to get!

He got no protection at all from the officials last week and after Boyd was targetted pre-season you have to wonder about what the refs are thinking.  If these were young Australians being lightly tapped by Manny, Dura or Siggy you would hear the angst and outrage across the world.

Very cool amount of stats for the A-League can now be found if you go to FourFourTwo's site and chedck out Opta-powered chalkboards

For example, the Adelaide game is here:
http://au.fourfourtwo.com/aleague_chalkboard.aspx?season=2012&competition=214&match=453710

Very cool way to see a player's contribution to a game

Anyway to show the counts for the various facets of the game, like total passes made per team/player - I don't want to count the passes shown on screen.

I have to question the legitimacy of it when it does not even include the offside that Brockie 'scored' the goal from. (unless I am doing it wrong) What else is missing then, I ask.

My one was where an advantage is played.  That is still a fould committed by and on a player but circumstances mean it desn't look like it is registered.

it's actually there but classed as a shot off target.

Muscat does about twice the work of Smith in attack and defence.  I'm getting less and less sure about his worth to our midfield.

Erm, Muscat played the full game, Smith played 50 minutes...

Anyway this is quite a good tool - the big flaw is it doesn't give you a number value for what you've selected as someone said, so you have to count up.
