that was last
weeks game.
GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS
Sydney didn't deserve a goal and the nix deserved atleast one. So a nix win is fair result.
i'll take a win if it was the gamiest, tinniest, flukiest win out of the history of wins...and this win was sweet like a plum

I loved Culina's half time comment where he indicated their goal was brilliant.. I'm sure we pretty much scored it for them.
A fair result.

Sydney had a better game in that respect and you cant class a penalty as a great goal really, it's down right sh*t if you miss so it should really just be done.
But fairness aside.... WE WIN!!

Because then I'll make a rash statement that I'll have to live down next week or be one the band wagoners that go "f**k YEAH" when we win and "LOSERS" when we lose. Much similar to Warriors supporters when they bagged them for losing 6 straight and then late in the season everyone couldn't get enough of them.
Regardless of the result, I just wanna watch good football and 3 of their 4 games I've watched, they have played good football. This week was justice for last week to right the ledger, but I still think draws would have been fair both weeks. Its fun to speculate about it and thats one of the reasons why I love this game...

Are you saying im a fair weather supporter?
I think you'd have to look at Celtic for
that title..I've been supportive the whole way through. Why is it so bad that we are happy that we've got our first win??

I wasn't accusing anyone one of being a fair weather supporter. I just don't want to be accused of being a fairweather supporter myself. I've been in for the long haul since 99, but I also look at the game as a whole and don't speak on the game on raw emotion. Maybe thats just the referee coming out in me..
What I like about sport is that you can be rational about how a game is played, but then lose your frickin mind when your team wins. That's my preference anyway, hehe.
Also, I'm all fruity right now, but I'd like to say that I always enjoy tigers' posts and attitude. Come here you big lug!

A draw? Fair? I dont really know which of those notions to attack first! I understand your refs viewpoint, but you are supporting a side here, not doing the officiating. The Nix deserve everything they got tonight, after the 2-2 come from behind, the 3-0 drumming, and then the unluckiest of 1-0 losses. To come back from a goal down, away from home, behind after an opportunist strike, shows real character and makings of a team Im proud to be a supporter of. I have to disagree with you; so what if Sydney had all the ball in the latter stages of the second half? The resilience and commitment of the Nix made me wish they were Boro! This is your team dont forget, our team! Im sure this is not a one-eyed view, its more than that. This team has played their skins out in the past few matches, giving everything back that we as supporters have given them. To say they deserve a draw leaves an ash laced taste in my mouth. Their win kept me on cloud nine the rest of my shift at work, and if they had gone a goal, or two goals down, Id still have said they deserved to win. Leave your refs hat at home and come sing in the terraces! Weve got the best team, in the league, weve got the best team in the league, weve the best team in the league - Weve got the best team in the league!

Brilliant Win full of character!!!!!!! Class goal from Felipe, and well taken penalties from Daniel!!! Sydney were crap! Lucky we gave them a sloppy goal!!!! Makes up for last weeks disappointment. Bring on next week's game against Adelaide!
LOL

Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
