Thought I would play around with a
calendar that imports all your dates for the Rugby World Cup into
Outlook that I found on the web. I have edited it so that you can
also import the games with venues and times for all 21 Rounds of
the A-League. It took a bit of messing around with formatting, but
it works with my Outlook 2007 and you can find it here; let me know how you
get on!

How did you do this? If this can be done easily, what are the
chances of getting one done for the NZFC??

Nah- that is just an ad.There is a countdown thing from 30 to access the site
, then you put in
the code it gives you, hit download and bingo. When it downloads
find it, unzip it and double click it and Bob's yer uncle, Fanny's
yer aunt!!

All you need is the time, date of the event and some downtime! I did this to avoid doing an assignment for my Masters- far more fun than the theory of numeracy! niggle2007-08-30 20:09:19

You can do it easily- I found a pdf on a Aussy website. I opened the Rugby calendar in notepad , then copied and pasted the fixture info, then edited the entries to match the rugby ones, so if you have the time and dates etc it is pretty simple. I'll see if I can put one together for you! Try opening the file in notepad and you will see what I mean. God this is turning into a nerdy geek forum- I better shuit up!! niggle2007-08-30 20:09:02

Hmmm,The only NZFC fixture list I could find did not have the team names, only pictures of the team crest. I need to find a list of fixtures with the team names on it.If you can find a list with the team names on post it here!

That is when trying to download it. I could host it if you want...
If it's just an .ics file, most calendar software (iCal at least) can export as it. I did it earlier today - http://yomcat.geek.nz/nix/Phoenix.ics

Let m know your email address if it makes downloading easier- it

Trust me, it's far easier downloading a direct link than something that I can't even get to work ;)
