Good on you mate for picking the right team.

Goalwise, we may hopefully see a younger bloke (Tyler Boyd) play a full game.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

With Burns & Krishna out it's tough to say... McGlinchey has scored a few this season but isn't usually a goal scorer. Key will be good service from Bonevecia, McGlinchey, Riera to get stuff going. Away to Adelaide isn't usually a good trip for us.

The goals will still be at opposite ends of the ground, roughly 100m apart.

Welcome aboard.Just out of curiosity where abouts in blighty are you from? And who do you support?

As for goals wouldn't be surprised to see Tyler Boyd score a few as he's been doing well for the reserves.

Welcome abroad, nice to have oversea follows. Discussion is happening in the new match thread around who goal scorer will be. Not sure if Boyd will get a start but hope he does. WeeMac and Roly are our next two scorers and hopefully one of them fires.

I'm positive things will go wrong.

Roly will get a 30 yard screamer sooner or later.

thanks for that. Live in a town called ossett which is in wakefield just next to leeds. Leeds united supporter too.

The atmosphere and crowd looked good against WSW on sunday. Is that the normal crowd for home games or just with it being christmas?

Hi Jim I'm a Leeds supporter like you but based in Buckinghamshire.  Nix are playing far better then the Whites right now!!!

Atmosphere at Nix games very similar to Elland Road except we don't get the knob heads who give Leeds fans a bit of a bad reputation.  That crowd was slightly bigger then normal but when the weather's good, the team can get quite a few more.

Us kiwi's only seem to support winning teams so when we've been under the kosh crowds drop to 5-6k.

Supporter world's best and worst football teams: Waikato/WaiBop, Kingz, Knights, Phoenix, The Argyle, The Whites & the All Whites

There was a Leeds supporter that was a regular at Kingz/Knights games, red-faced beefy barrel-type tyke with strong Yorkshire accent who drank vast quantities of lager at t'pub across the road from Nth Harbour stadium, who went back home just before the Knights went bust. Maybe you might run across him at ER if you shout out your Kiwi interest loud enough.

I'll take my chance because luck is on my side or something...

Her name is Rio, she don't need to understand...

Oh Rio, Rio, hear them shout across the land..."

You're probably aware of this coverage, but have mentioned them just in case.

A-League on the Guardian : http://www.theguardian.com/football/a-league

Plus bbc sports has some coverage on the results, fixtures page, altho you have to change the options : http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live-scores

The Guardian is often better than NZ coverage/analysis of the A-League, beyond the Phoenix

Tickets? Tickets? We talkin’ about tickets?

The Gaurdian's A League coverage is the best there is. Better than the Australian coverage.

It is the Guardian's Australian arm doing the A-League coverage, and it's just as good as their British-based stuff.
