I know it's early days, but does anyone know of any sites that
offer free (or paid, if that's the way its gotta be) coverage of
A-League games? I'm stoked that Welly's got a team, but did they
have to wait til I left the country?
Even
if its delayed video, I guess it'll have to do...

wasnt any that i know of last season apart from for the grand
final(due to it being televised overseas). However if you go
to: http://aussietorrents.com/ there are always games
uploaded in torrent form that you can downlaod. you will already
know the result but you can still watch away games without getting
paytv.

- seems to suggest there could be live streaming of the
Phoenix games

Sweet - results are results, but its still cool to see it all in
action. Somehow just reading about how a edge-of-the-18-yarder
screamed into the top left doesn't quite have the same
satisfaction.
Hmm. If SkyPerfect in Japan screened A-League, I'd sign up.
Its the method, not the funds *he says, checking his pockets for
change for the vending machine*

Our mate Robbie Slater stated on Total Football that an hour
package of the A -League 2006 season was distributed throughout
Asia on a weekly bases last year.
So maybe the same will happen again this
season.

There's always the live updates if you get really desperate, either theworldgame.com.au or a-league.com.au. The four four two Australia site is better, but doesnt' do many matches.

Yeah, and while I'm at it I think I'll stop playing Winning Eleven
and just go back to 80s style text-based gaming.

Pass ball to Rooney
> Ronaldo doesn't pass!
> Ronaldo is tackled by Ballack, loses ball (and
20HP)
Ronaldo get up
> Ronaldo doesn't get up!
> Ronaldo cries.
