A-League streaming - Livesport.tv closing down.

Just to let people know who have used livesport.tv over the last few seasons to watch the A-League online. Peform (the people behind the fancy new DAZN.com service), have just sent me an email advising that they are going to closedown livesport.tv.

If you're looking for legal A-League streaming, you'll need to figure out a new option moving forward.

Time to step up for SKY to offer a Phoenix Abroad Fan Pass. Includes all away games from the Westpac.

this place is funny

"wah, wah, wah, Sky won't pay enough for the A League". "If the Phoenix fold, I will personally blame Sky"

"here's the best way to watch all the A League games without having to pay for Sky"

I know that those comments are not from the same people, but surely those who think Sky should pay a kings ransom for the A League should be vehemently against those advertising all the free streams

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

I do pay for Sky Sport, incidentally. I thought these people were outside NZ and trying to watch games.

I've frequently used free streams in the past when sky's services don't work because people are using it and it can't handle being used by multiple people.

Or the Sky app which during a football ferns game in the Olympics was delayed coverage by 30 mins for no apparent reason.

I'm watching on FanPass and I wish all the dollars I'm paying would go all into the SKY Phoenix/A-League support, because that is the only thing I'm interested is on. The website is very limited, if they put the game on Popup channel you fudgeed. Picture quality is good, but not full HD.

despite some of the rhetoric on here SKY are trying to solve the pop up channels thing on fan pass, and the HD picture quality.

it should have been part of the initial release but we are past that now.

And tell them, that they should give us a Football ONLY Pass, cheaper, but just the Football like 29.90/month

Thanks for the info

Might try a daily pass and see what the quality is like.

I used FanPass last weekend for the first time for the All Blacks/All Whites/Bathurst/Formula 1 it worked well enough, had issues with missing the start of things, but the quality was ok, no issues with streaming or anything, and on that occasion, worth the $15.

Not sure I'm too keen on $15 for each away game, so I've emailed them to see if there's any chance of a Phoenix "season pass" but I don't think they are doing them this year. I'll report back if I have any luck

That is cheaper than a home game and has some pretty nifty benefits. You can eat or drink whatever you want. You will be warm and dry, assuming no spillage or extreme excitement. You can swing your pants around your head at 80 minutes when we are winning. You can jump on the chairs as much as you want. Hell, you could even let off some flares.

I mentioned this option at home and missus is readying an old folding deckchair for me for the occasion.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I too couldn't afford Sky TV at the regular price.

I have it though at a special price through a marketing company.

Anyone who hasn't had Sky TV in the last two months can phone this number:

0800 475 988  (Icon Marketing) Keep phoning 9 am - 5 pm weekdays till you get hold of someone.

(Offer is not available through the regular Sky TV numbers)

You get Sky Basic for $29 / month

Sky Sport for another $10 / month (i.e. $39 / month for Basic and Sport)

(Sky Movies for another $10 / month if that floats your boat)

Add and subtract any other channels as you wish after installation (beIN Sports etc.)

Free My Sky Plus box for recording.

Minimum 6 month contract (but can continue getting the offer for up to one year)

(Must give Sky one month's notice to terminate)

Sky Sport also show other football such as a few EPL club channels, Champions League, Europa League.

Also a big All Whites year with World Cup qualifiers, Confederations Cup, friendlies.
