Ok have been reading the posts regarding people who did not get their Adelaide ticket when they bought their LA Galaxy ticket.

For those who dont have one you can present your LA Galaxy ticket at the turnstiles on Friday night and Ticketek will give you a hard copy ticket to enter the Adelaide game.

Get there early as it will be a big crowd.

but it wont be the same seat eh ?as Ticketek then went on and "resold" those seats to others.....ie I was sold good seats in aisle 23 for Galaxy on the day tickets went up for sale but had to settle for aisle 15 a week later when I went back and complained about only getting one set as it was the then best available as all others had been sold out.

I got 32N and something in 17 today. So 15 isn't that bad. Though it's going to be a huge crowd judging by those "best available" tickets.

Wouldn't worry about the seating for Adelaide.  I bought gold tickets for the Galaxy game really early on, and still my Adelaide seat was aisle 33.  So don't know that you've been inconvenienced for your Adelaide seating by the delay.  Hopefully there'll be room to move - for me back into the Prawn Zone. With respect aisle 15 is/almost behind the goal whereas aisle 23 is on the sideline to halfway side and near the entry tunnel and the fever zone so I get the atmopshere whilst still staying seated.

I agree there was no shortage of tickets in the gold area when I went back to get the Adelaide game issued..but im not gold.

I bought on day 1 at 9am.

I agree with Football Mum that more advertising is needed (radio spot?) to avoid big queues..the issue of ticket for general entry leftover tickets, will work as people will clearly bring their saturday ticket..they might just get a nasty surprise sitting at either end of the ground as seating in correct aisle is enforced.

The club MUST advertise the Adelaide game, because the children who are going to the galaxy game won't be allowed out 2 nights in a row.

I also bought on day 1

Not sure where to post this - but this seems a good area.

We (Phoenix / Fever) have huge opportunity this weekend to lift the profile of the beautiful game to a new level for Wellington and NZ. However we all have to play our part.

We will have at least 5000 football virgins at the game on Friday, and another 5,000 (with luck) on Saturday - we need to make it a fantastic experience for them, so they want to come back again.

So.
- Lets have one fever organising chants - no splinter groups this time
- No beer bottle throwing
- For those outside the fever zone - get behind the team - join in the chants
- Wear all the Phoenix / fever stuff you have - if you don't have any - get yourself down to Ryos / Champs or the phoneix store and put your hand in your pocket
- Be nice to the new attendees
- If you've been to games before - get there early, this will make it easier for the people unused to the protocol / security
- Please keep to your allocated seating - remember you will probably have a different seat for both games

Enjoy - I am so looking forward to the weekend

I am the same mate, cannot wait for the weekend!! im a season ticket holder and cannot wait to see the stadium almost full for the 1st time this season, also on a positive note i thought we were excellent against melbourne last week and what a goal by Lia , i was sl*gging him off before he scored as i dont think hes good for the nix however that goal easily changed my mind!

Lets see felipe back on his game as well - hope theres plenty of goals - in the direction of the nix, to be honest i would gladly accept 1-0 phoenix against adelaide right now.

MON THE PHOENIX!

Spoken to Ticketek and the best way forward if you have not go your Adelaide ticket with your LA Galaxy is to get to a box office before game day on the Friday and pick up your Adelaide ticket. They will be able to check on the system.

If you leave it for Friday at the stadium it will be difficult at the turnstiles with the expected crowd.

I really hope there's a good crowd on Friday and a game worthy of it. And the right result of course. We need to win at least 2 of the 3 upcoming home games.

Noted tho on Newstalk ZB this morning that adverts for Galaxy game say (still?) "buy your ticket and it will get u into the Adelaide game."...effectively it does via 2 for one but only if Ticketek are now issuing 2 tickets which at this late stage should be same seat for both games.  I hope chaos will not reign at the gates on Friday nite.....still reckon a reconcilaition by Ticketek of tickets issued for both would identify how big the problem actually is.

Folks,

if you are looking for Adelaide tickets, apparently there are a stack still in the Zone (21-22) available for sale.  Ticketek never issued those as the freebies with Galaxy tickets.

Be a shame if we can't fill the zone due to access policies.

How's my driving? - Whine here

This will be my first Phoenix game so really looking forward to the experience. Ordered my tickets through Ticketek when they first went on sale and got them a week later. Aisle 7 for Adelaide game and I think Aisle 22 or 23 for Galaxy game (really should check before the weekend) Will also be bringing 4 other first timers. Go the Nix!!!

yeah, this ticket allocation thing is all very odd - I specifically went in perosn to book an All White ticket so I could point to the stadium screen display and say 'I want to sit there' (aisle 21, of course) - but all aisle 21 and 22 was blocked out on the screen. The ticketek lady said that the area was either sold out or pre-allocated.
Of course on the night of the AW game the stadium was so empty I could sit wherever I wanted.

So I wouldn't be surprised if Ticketek are holding back aisle 21/22 seats - but why, I have no idea.

Conspiracy theory..its a plot to mitigate the effects of the Yellow Fever.

There better not be any other "blocks" they didnt sell as when they went into rectification mode for me around 10-12 October aisle 15 was best available..I think I have flogged that horse to death enough now.  They showed me all the way around the stadium and it was only the end zones and gold that had capacity.  8-14 were all full as was 22-28.

they great thing about horses on this particular forum, is that once we've flogged them to death,  a few minutes later there's always the faint smell of burning and a bit of smoke on the horizon and bingo the little buggers are alive again, and we can all start flogging the topic again (and again)

Don't complicate things.

- if you have a season pass for Friday, youre fine

- if you have a paper ticket with Phoenix v Adelaide, you're fine

- if you have a ticket with Phoenix v Galaxy: both, you need to go to ticketek and get a paper ticket for the Adelaide game.  Can be done before Friday (encouraged) or at the turnstiles before the game (not encouraged).  There are still plenty of tickets in aisles 21 and 22 (the FeverZone) so request those when ordering.  We expect that like against Sydney you'll need a ticket in the zone to get in.

Case closed (unless Hard News or another mod corrects me).
