the thing is this has been going on for a month it should of been dealt with back then not a few days before!!!
They were looking for matchday volunteers, doing what?
We (Phoenix / Fever) have huge opportunity this weekend to lift the profile of the beautiful game to a new level for Wellington and NZ. However we all have to play our part.
We will have at least 5000 football virgins at the game on Friday, and another 5,000 (with luck) on Saturday - we need to make it a fantastic experience for them, so they want to come back again.
So.
- Lets have one fever organising chants - no splinter groups this time
- No beer bottle throwing
- For those outside the fever zone - get behind the team - join in the chants
- Wear all the Phoenix / fever stuff you have - if you don't have any - get yourself down to Ryos / Champs or the phoneix store and put your hand in your pocket
- Be nice to the new attendees
- If you've been to games before - get there early, this will make it easier for the people unused to the protocol / security
- Please keep to your allocated seating - remember you will probably have a different seat for both games
Enjoy - I am so looking forward to the weekend

I am the same mate, cannot wait for the weekend!! im a season ticket holder and cannot wait to see the stadium almost full for the 1st time this season, also on a positive note i thought we were excellent against melbourne last week and what a goal by Lia , i was sl*gging him off before he scored as i dont think hes good for the nix however that goal easily changed my mind!
Lets see felipe back on his game as well - hope theres plenty of goals - in the direction of the nix, to be honest i would gladly accept 1-0 phoenix against adelaide right now.
MON THE PHOENIX!
All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

Noted tho on Newstalk ZB this morning that adverts for Galaxy game say (still?) "buy your ticket and it will get u into the Adelaide game."...effectively it does via 2 for one but only if Ticketek are now issuing 2 tickets which at this late stage should be same seat for both games. I hope chaos will not reign at the gates on Friday nite.....still reckon a reconcilaition by Ticketek of tickets issued for both would identify how big the problem actually is.

if you are looking for Adelaide tickets, apparently there are a stack still in the Zone (21-22) available for sale. Ticketek never issued those as the freebies with Galaxy tickets.
Be a shame if we can't fill the zone due to access policies.
) Will
also be bringing 4 other first timers. Go the Nix!!!
yeah, this ticket allocation thing is all very odd - I specifically went in perosn to book an All White ticket so I could point to the stadium screen display and say 'I want to sit there' (aisle 21, of course) - but all aisle 21 and 22 was blocked out on the screen. The ticketek lady said that the area was either sold out or pre-allocated.
Of course on the night of the AW game the stadium was so empty I could sit wherever I wanted.
So I wouldn't be surprised if Ticketek are holding back aisle 21/22 seats - but why, I have no idea.
Conspiracy theory
..its a
plot to mitigate the effects of the Yellow Fever.
There better not be any other "blocks" they didnt sell as when
they went into rectification mode for me around 10-12 October
aisle 15 was best available..I think I have flogged that horse to
death enough now
.
They showed me all the way around the stadium and it was only the
end zones and gold that had capacity. 8-14 were all full as
was 22-28.

they great thing about horses on this particular forum, is that once we've flogged them to death, a few minutes later there's always the faint smell of burning and a bit of smoke on the horizon and bingo the little buggers are alive again, and we can all start flogging the topic again (and again)
