Wellington Phoenix are on the verge of making a groundbreaking signing. Alessandro Pistone, the former Everton fullback is about to put pen to paper in a deal that will go through to the end of the season. Pistone has recently had unsuccessful trials with Watford and Hull.

If this is true, Big Dunc is a very happy man! What an outstanding player, He's had some injury problems of late but he is pure class.

Closed.  Covered and rubbished in the other threads on the exit and replacement players.

Anyone can add to that Rumour Mill.  Next they will be linking Peter Halstead as a Centre Back.
