As the All Whites and Phoenix are both playing on November 17, and
I'm assuming that the All Whites will finish before the Phoenix
start (or am hoping), is there any way that maybe the stadium could
open a little earlier and play the All Whites on the big screen
before hand? Hope TonyP can maybe arrange it, or we all gonna miss
one of the games.

Hey, I'm a ticketek member and I got an email today offering me
tickets for the All Whites game vs Vanuatu on November 21st..
You sure you got the date right?
Or maybe they will play 2 games 4 days apart from one
another?

The 17th is the away game, then home on 21, so the date is right.

oh boy,
hope the Nix won't be too harmed by having 4/5 players
away with the AW's. Anyway I totally like the idea of the Stadium
being opened a bit early so we can watch the game in Port Vila
first and the Nix afterwards..
does anyone know what time the fixture is supposed to
start??
Do you think maybe Moss' father in law should enter the military so he'll get refused entry to Vanuatu and we can have a full team??? :D

Surely we could just watch it at the Backbencher or Thistle
beforehand?

I don't want to seem unpatriotic but I would rather have all our
players available to play for the Phoenix. Nov 17 at home against
Sydney is a game we can win. the disruption of loosing the coach
and 5 of our better players is a real pain.
To be honest if the All White's can't beat Vanuatu without
Smeltz, Lockhead and co then they have no chance of getting
anywhere near the WorldCup.
The fiasco around the Fiji games really screwed up the
Phoenix. It is no surprise that we are in the middle of a three
game loosing streak.

I agree.
At least schedule the qualifiers for midweek so that players can return to their clubs (as overseas).

Yeah but we need combinations right too for the World Cup, got to
take every opportunity we get to promote and get our boys playing
for the All Whites. Just a bummer that the A-League won't
reschedule games.

Maybe something that may happen in future.
I say tackle him in the face.

It seems to put Ricky in a n awkward situation - if he did 'rest'
Lochead and or Smeltz, or even the much maligned (but sorely
missed) Chrisitie by omitting them from the AWs I reckon the press
would hammer him

Who cares what the fickle press say - does anyone realistically
think that 'they' are right anyway.
Maybe the Phoenix management should demand a midweek fixture,
given that we have already suffered thanks to politics getting
invloved with sport [again]

im still new to this country but the all whites, will they ever be playing in the ring of fire?

are any of you guys and gals going to the match?

Everyone here should be at the match!
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

as the 12th player to really lift the team!!!!!
how much is it for the AWs game????? i assume there will be a
NZfever presense to scare the sh*t out of vanuatu

$15 for students, $27 for adults. If you're buying more than one
ticket, take your Phoenix membership (season ticket) to get a
discount.

HMmmmmm. With season passes can we get into the AW's game like I can with my rugby one that gets me into Super 14 All Blacks and NPC???
I say for that game we call ourselves White Fever or something and make some All White Chants.
