Possible charity match for Christchurch? Just like japan are doing now that their game against the all whites is cancelled

(probably some already piling on the extra off-season pounds too)


Maybe better would be AWs vs NZ invitation XI (a few Nix players, a few NZFC players, some YF execs...)

Why not do it more like the Basin Cricket. A mix of current and old players with a smattering of other code stars & celebrities in the mix. Would quite like to see if Mark Todd or Rob Wadell or John Campbell can kick for sh*t

The Nix have scattered across the world, chuck in those having surgery and they can probably start Lochhead and James Musa, maybe Pav.

All Whites vs A-League All Stars would be an awesome game to go and watch, if it is marketed right they could even fill Westpac stadium for it.

The reason this works in Japan is because they have enough of their national side playing domestically. We dont.
