If you can call "Hard News deleting more members again to keep it below 5000 " special, then yes

Yellow Fever falls into a different "tax bracket" when we reach 5000 members so hence all efforts are being made to keep numbers just below that magical and "elusive" figure......

it's exponential (or something like that), the we'll get closer and closer to 5k by ever reducing margins, but never hit 5k!

if we make 5000 it will cause a minor upset the balance of the universe,

normally this would pass unnoticed but on this occasion it will cause the Hadron Collider to 'blip' (technical term) and ....

Nah, News has his flaws but I'm sure he's vigilant enough to never let that happen.

Last month I was fortunate enough to visit the Nou Camp.....home of Barcelona FC

They have 195,000 in their supporters club....Phoenix have only 190,000 to go....mind you Rome was not built in a day and to hit 5000 at the beginning of season 2 is awesome.

First time I have ever visited a world super club. You fork out $30 for a 2 hour guided tour. it was mind blowing. They own their own 92,000 seated stadium. The site occupies about 4 hectares around the stadium. They have there own restaurants, bars, cinema, museusms and a merchandise building bigger than Kirkaldies.....all designed to extract $$$$ from supporters and tourists like me. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon and there must of been 2000 tourists on site.

Best bit was watching the workers tearing down all the huge Ronaldinho billboards.

Could'nt help but think how awesome it would be if one day the mighty Phoenix turned into an A-League superclub...always near the top of the table, lots of Trophies, the best players in the comp.
Dreams are free I guess.
