Does anyone on these forums ever read Yellow Fever news? Sometimes I think we are wasting our time...

What a f**king coup for the Mariners! How do they convince an international striker still in his prime to move to a small club that punches above its weight?? I know that the ex-Syndey owner Turnbull (that right?) has invested in the club, but surely Aloisi has thought about things other than money!......Clearly Wellington offers the better lifestyle!

Agree  punches above it's weight, because it has very good management, off the park, same reason Sydney going so bad, very  poor management of the park. Nix also has excellent management off the park, Shabba121  hold the faith,  your team will shine in time.

Wrong   Clearly Wellington offers the better lifestyle! cough cough ha ha oooooooooooo ha. When you have 30 beaches four huge lakes, plus another major water way (brisbane waters), major river, throw in National Parks, Half an hour north of Sydney, One hour from the Hunter Valley. Climate well can't compare,Wellie - windy, cold, rain, Central Coast - warm, sunny.  To stop the torture I will stop now.

not sure why Ross talked by CCM to his bro (from 442)

He was incredibly impressed with the respect we showed him and the fact that we are a well regarded club. He's gotten excellent feedback about the club from people within the game such as his brother Ross and Tony Vidmar.

The quotes I've seen from Ross were prefaced with 'if you can't come to Wellington, then go to the Mariners'.

As for midfielder...  Gosford = Australia.  Wellington = New Zealand.  Therefore, Wellington wins.
