Sorry but he didn't impress me in the Reserves 3-0 loss to Western Springs on Sunday.

Sloane-R was good with the ball but he didn't get enough of it. That's about it. None of the Nix had the drive and ability of Springs' Daniel Normann (as previously posted) and their speedy left wing whose name escaped me. Just a personal POV of course.

None of the 1st teamers impressed that much v Springs and the irony was when the regular reserves players came on as subs after an hour the game changed in favour of Nix with several shots on goal created. Lachlan Candy in particular was pretty effective and could be a great player when he learns to pass the ball!
Cassidy has played pretty well this year for the Reserves and hence got the call up to train with the 1st team an obviously impressed enough there. Let's not judge young players on games they are dropped down to play with having not trained with the other players in months.
