Most of the people watching on Sky would be from other parts of the country i'm guessing. (well, I damn well hope so)

who knows what it will be. if we were lucky enough to have had a home game last week as well it def would be 20,000. but to say 7000, could be a bit light.. hopefully.

The only people who are pessimistic about the crowd are those out of town, and usually out of the country. They have no sense of the vibe in town.

I would guess around 10-12k, weather dependent.

20k - minimum

weather a factor though

Long range weather forecast looking good.  sh*tty stuff clearing before the weekend.  Be nice to top the last home game.  Three-nil down last week won't help, but I reckon the Nix are gonna be a real force at home.  Best stadium in the A-league and that noise reverberates around the place.  Be great to make it a real hell cauldron - the most intimidating place to come and play in the league.  BRINGITON!!

Im hoping  for 20k - but 15k + seems likely. 80-90% of those who were at the melbourne game should return. plus with the extras....weather dependant.

That was taken from one of the podcasts (or vice versa). I think it was Miles Davis.

As many as we can get.
A true supporter supports through thick & thin, unlike other flaky supporters that we could mention.
A genuine supporter stays until the end of the game [I mean the season and beyond], not halfway, or at the first sign of a single [or multiple loss]
This is ONLY the beginning, and to get 15K is a mighy effort, given the short period for the whole TEAM to get organised.
A credit to the code, and a credit to the REAL supporter, come on guys & gals, get your a.... down to the Stadium on Sunday

Miles Davis?
Is he a fan?
Wonder if we can get him to play in the samba band...
He's pretty handy with a horn!

I agree mate people should go what ever happens, and stop being typical glory hunters who only go if a team is winning, win or lose, ill be there as always, keep the faith and cheer on the boys.

12,000, due to time and previous loss.

i feel the next home game on saturday will draw the biggest crowd, if we get results

Il be there with a few mates 4 sure. even tho it wont always be the case, ppl should go irrespective of the weather and current form (well true supporters will anyway). But im pretty confident the weather will be good, as the forecast suggests. but who cares if its crap just go anyway I say...

Way too many night games in all codes...would prefer if there were more day games kicking off around the 2:30-3pm mark, but I guess you have to please aussie viewers etc. Bring on daylight savings and these evening kick offs should be played in sunshine, heres hoping anyway!

I'll be there! I missed the first game (saw most of it on telly) but I managed to get along to the underground bar with my mate graham to watch the game vs Central Coast! Was a bloody awesome atmosphere despite the result! Bring on the Jets!!! wellicane2007-09-04 21:40:33

I think anything over 10k will be a huge success. I am pretty sure you will do that easily.
I think if you guys can average over the entire season over 6k you will have done brilliantly and I am betting you do that in a canter.
I remember during the Kingz and Knights seasons that December and January were really bad times for crowds up here. Not sure if that time period will hurt you guys much.

Great response Stack - any ideas as to why there was a drop in attendance over this period. What dangers should we be aware of, so that it doesn't happen down here. You sound like a true supporter, and good on yer

I think it was a mixture of our apathy up here, losing games and the xmas period. A bit of everything.
Ignore Hardnews, he drove up for all the games here via Napier....
