Hi guys. I'm an Upper Hutt boy living in Brisbane now and obviously a big Phoenix fan. Even though we lost and there were a few issues with the security staff and Police during the Phoenix's last visit here, it was still a pretty good night. I honestly thought I'd be the only Phoenix fan there, and It was great to meet the other QLD based fans and especially the guys that made the trip.

Anyway, the Roar fans are a pretty good bunch of people and always good to get on the drink with before and after the game, so any game at suncorp will be fun. I was just wondering about any Phoenix fans that will be going to this game and if any arrangements have been made to meet up for a drink at then make our prescence felt at the match?

As a local and ex-Roar supporter, I'm happy to provide any guidance that may be neccessary.

Cheers,

Olly.

I was hoping to be there, but had to change plans. What a drag. Especially as I have mates just up the road from Suncorp.

Thats what happens with an odd number of rounds.

Next season (hopefully) it'll be the other way around.

I'll be there to see Queensland v Melbourne a week after Phoenix game. Sadly means I miss the Phoenix v Sydney game here, but thankfully that's the only home game I miss this season.

Small consolation I suppose....might wear the Phoenix shirt there anyway...!!

I'm going to the Roar v Perth game tonight. I'll observe the treatment that the Perth fans get from security and the cops, so I can compare it to what the Phoenix supporters recieve next month.

Well, I tried to obvserve the treatment afforded to the visiting Supporters, but despite a crowd of over 16,000 people at Suncorp, there didn't appear to be any Perth fans there.

I can confirm that the Roar fans had a whole row of seats in which they were allowed to drape their banner across, something that Phoenix fans weren't allowed to do in a much less crowded section when they were in Brisbane last time...

I'm still here... (am ex L-Hutt though) and will be at the next game of course...

Would be keen on doing the same as last time - have a few ales and cop/give sum stick with the Roar supporters then go and see who we can get arrested this time... lol

E-mail me at: YellowFeverQld@gmail.com

I'll contact Suncorp too and see if we can get some sense out of them too.

Don't need to get the fatty-boomba and his mates givin us grief again!!!

It's a very quick and effective cure for being homesick lol... a quick look at the temp in Welly and I'm sweet again!

Though seeing the Fever Zone on telly with the sun beating down on the yellow shirted, white skinned, cold Tui carrying Lucky Bastards doesn't look too difficult I gotta say!!!
