Getting ridiculous really

1 point from 5 games

Didn't think it could get worse than last season.

I think we should get more points.

That would solve it.

I know, I know, its serious!

Quite frankly, the Phoenix away is a bit of a wild goose chase.

I thought we would fly like an eagle but instead we were as dead as a dodo.

Bah, if we can't win away, we'll never win the league, it disappoints some what.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

A win would certainly be a feather in our cap.

This is my radical idea for winning away games:

Steroids.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

This away form really is an albatross round our necks - and imagine if our home form turns to custard - it gives me goose bumps!

It truly is a poultry amount of points we've picked up on the road.

There's no use squawking about it. We need to keep egging the boys on.

Well this gives the Nix brains trust something to brood over.

A change in the pecking order is called for.

Sick of all this sh*tey play on the wings for a start!

We need to start winning if we want to see the fans flocking into the stadium again.

We should just forfeit away matches.  Save Terry's money and everybody's time.

I was going to catch an away game later in the season but no way I'm spending hundreds to make the migration across the ditch to see us lose.

There is more to it than just away form tho.We might have maintained our form at home but its not as if they are playing much better at home.
Given the squad we have this year it would be nice to see the team show some of the same passion and commitment as some of the supporters show.

GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS

disco dance to raise moral. that'll get 'em scoring away from home.

alternatively, Canterbury can get their own team and we can thrash them away. 3 points in the bag.

I think we just need one win away and we should be fine. Or at least getting back to half decent away form. Unfortunately, I have no idea where that win will come from. We have Adelaide as our next road trip - graveyard for us there and they are unbeaten -, and then Perth - again a bit of a graveyard and we are following up from a midweek game at home (nice scheduling!). The third away game is at Newcastle, that is the only one I can see us winning in the near future. Unless we sort some sh*t out.

Oh god.. Adelaide.. Do i need to bring up that oh so painful defeat? Well i have. Let it burn inside you like napalm hitting the jungles in Vietnam.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

plane travel, airport waiting, time difference, different sleeping and resting place, i.e.hotel, climate change, difference stadium, different atmosphere, opposite supporters.

Its all really tough and you have to feel for the players. A lot of them say that it shouldn't be an excuse. But I do feel sorry for them as it is, and its stating the obvious it is and they just have to cope with it.

Very tough especially as we are one of the biggest travelling teams in world football.

At home, none of those points apply and the visting team has come a long way. So its all a lot easier!!!

You would have thought that most of them would've adapted by now no?

It's not that far off being the same for a lot of the Aussie teams, NQF and Perth for example.

I'd be playing sh*te if I was starting a game at 11pm NZT. This is always going to hurt us.

Adapt to it. Train at 11pm for the week leading up to the game. Seriously, there is no excuse. These are professional players who get paid to play the game we love. If they can't handle waiting @ airports or playing at different times then they shouldn't be professional football players. Scottishbhoy2010-10-03 21:34:28

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Slightly off topic, but was last nights game the first time ever that Ifill has scored and we've lost? I think LF1 mentioned that stat a week or two ago
