Who would be interested in Melbourne in Jan for a few nights to see the Nix demo Victory?

Not the cheapest time to travel - but the best venue to visit - and is during the holidays for a lot of people (jan 11th).

what is the costs????

when would we fly?

where would we stay?

I need a bit more information before I can make a statement worth anything.

Count me in......I am heading over for the tennis anyway and would easily change my plans to link up for this game.  Haven't booked flights yet - happening in the next week or so.

What a heart breaker, I have 8 weeks annual leave and no money to travel. passport is all ok too! I'm broken! C/c - forget it, it's scarey enough as it is!

I've never been to Melbourne. Are the police Phoenix fan friendly??
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I'm loosely keen at this stage.

Could we really charter a plane?
Perhaps someone could ring Air NZ and ask what their minimum numbers required are ...

I can do it once I get back from Oz.

From memory there was a post earleir in the season from one bloke who either was a travel agent, or his missus was one.
Think he was a Sunderland fan....

GET HERE FARKING!

Should be a great game to see!

There're hotels close to Telstra Dome that are $12+ a night which are shotty but will hold you over till that game or you can rent floor space at some places, just look around before you head off so you wont be sleeping in the gutters. Thats the cheap way or you can just book a room at one of the many 5 star hotels in the CBD.

Just get here farking!!!

I'm already here (score!), but I want to get tickets in the section with all the other WP fans.

You can all sleep in my loungeroom - 25 crunts with a tower of Four-Four-Two magazines threatening to fall over and cause a massive tragedy at any time.

We booked our flights (using AirNZ Air$) and accommodation last week.  By strange coincidence we're on the same flights you're looking at and staying at the Ibis too.  Just have to sort out our tickets to the game now - looks easy enough on Ticketmaster website.  The opposition area at the Telstra Dome is shown as Aisle 21 - kind of ironic for Yellow Fever!

All I have to worry about is airfares and tickets if I can stay with a mate over there... unfortunately as a student worrying about airfares is a lot more worrisome!
