Back after a long absence

Seems I've been absent from these forums for about 7 years now since I moved away from NZ. I managed to get to the first two home games when the 'nix first started out. I thought I'd drop by and say hello, after reading an article on one of the NZ-based news providers that linked me here. I'd forgotten this place existed! Shame on me.

I have been keeping tabs on the boys from afar (Germany) but this has become a bit more difficult now that the WYSIWYG online streaming site has been taken down. Form and league position looks really good. Also it was nice to see the crowd numbers up again a bit for the last home game, which I watched online. Just got to find an alternative streaming site for future games now!

Welcome back Phil!

Morale is high right now.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Well, the YF T-shirt finally wore out about 2 years ago.

I suspect I am the only person in Germany who hangs a Phoienix flag from the balcony though.

Another one that I believe works is Vipbox.tv that will let you get the A-league games.

I'm an optimistic pessimist.
I'm positive things will go wrong.

Provide an email address and your size and I'm sure someone will send you one, even if it is a Retro Ricki. There are literally millions of unworn YF tees floating around.

I believe I was at those early games with you... and your younger bro...

Good to see you're still alive and following the nix mate

Yes! Hi mate.

Younger brother is still alive too. He's living in the UK now.. so neither of us ever make it to nix games any more. Although we do have the Bundesliga and the EPL as slightly-lower-quality substitues.... :)
